Chapter 12

I walk in to starbucks and scream at my two ibfs and run towards them we all end up in a huge hug and laughing.
We go to order i get a gingerbread flavoured latte
Lauren and lucy both get a caramel cream smoothie.

"So hows things with harry"lucy asks getting serious.
"Were good um i finally told him i loved him "
"About time biatch" lauren says. (Sorry laur but you do call me one all the time 😂)
"Yeah i know but im happy and i really do love him,i just wanted it to actually mean something when i said it"
"Awwww" they both say at the same time.
3 more coffees and a heart to heart later it was time for them to go,they were away for a double date tonight.

I get back to the flat and izzy is sitting there on the couch staring off into space with puffy eyes so i went over and sat beside her.
"Hey whats wrong"
"Um i need to tell you something..." she trails off.
"What is it?"
"Please don't get mad"
"Izzy...your scaring me"
"I didnt want to tell you cause you were already upset because of adam and so i decided i would wait but seeing you so happy i didn't want to tell you but its killing me... the night of our birthday after you had gone to bed i dug up every piece of information i could find on mum... and um a few days after she left her body was found in a hotel down the royal mile, im sorry i didnt tell you lisa"
I start to cry without even realising it...
"Did they have a cause of death?" I manage to choke out.
"Suicide"
Hearing that the one person you waited your whole life to come rescue you has actually been dead for the past 15 years is the hardest thing anyone can here...
" did he know" i say starting to get angry.
"Yeah he sold the story to the papers and hid it from us"
That was the last straw i jump up grab my phone of the couch and walk out the door slamming it shut behind me.
Why didnt he tell us,ive been waiting for her all this time and all this time shes been in a better place..
Suddenly thoughts flashed through my head.
'Who else knew, why was her belongings never passed, did she have a funeral,did anyone go,why didnt she take us... maybe if she took us with her she wouldnt have done it...'
By this time i was sitting on a bench in the courtyard.
"Why mum" i whisper with a crack in my voice and the tears started again...

Izzys pov
I done it,i told her but i dont know if shes mad at me, i dont even know where she went because she didnt say and shes not answering her texts i look out the window and can make out a figure sitting on the bench, no one ever sits on those benches... it must be her. I cant risk going down to check on her though she must hate me so much right now. The figure stands up and starts to walk towards the building, tonights lads night in harrys flat, all the sidemen are there and its strictly no girls allowed so she must be coming up here,i start making two cups of tea and i make her some nice toast and nutella,her favourite.
She walks in the door and i take them over to her.

"Thanks" she says with a small smile.
"Your not mad at me are you?"
"No just hurt you didnt  let me find her with you..."
"I wanted to surprise you"
She just nods and takes her toast and tea through to her room.
I pull out my phone and text harry...
I: hey harry after your finished would yo umind coming down to see lisa,i told her some very hard news today about our mum and i dont think she wants me to comfort her really.
H: yeah of course,anything for lisa.

I smile, im so happy shes finally with a boy that isnt an asshole.
