After class the next day, the team split up into groups.

"Alright, Ruby and I will go make a call to the Schnee Headquarters in Atlas so I can get a list of what dust robberies there have been, while Yang goes into the shadowed part of town to meet a friend. Blake and you will go to a meeting of the White Fang disgused as new recruits." Weiss explained to Gracie.

"Let me stop that train before it goes off. I have training to go to tonight. I'll catch up with you guys later. Besides, if anyone shows from the warehouse I was kept in or practically anything I partook in, they'll reconize me. Wolves aren't really that popular of faunuses." Gracie argued.

"Fine. You can meet up with Yang after your training." Weiss sighed.

"Great let's go!" Sun's voice came from outside.

The five girls looked to see him hanging off a tree right outside their window. He had a smug grin on his face as he jumped through.

"Sun, we don't want to get friends involved." Blake huffed.

"You should always get friends involved. That's why I brought Neptune." Sun pointed to outside the window where Neptune clung to a ledge.

"Please let me in. We are very high up." Neptune pleaded.

After the boy was brought inside, the newcomers were assigned to people. Sun was with Blake to infiltrate the White Fang meeting, and Neptune was with Yang to meet Yang's informant, despite Weiss's complants. The groups split and Gracie went to her father's office.

"Dad? I'm here." Gracie stepped out of the elevator and looked around.

Suddenly, she was knocked down from behind and pinned to the ground with a pressure on her back.

"Please tell me you do not plan to walk into battle informing the enemy of your arrival." Ozpin's voice came from a bit behind her and above her, flying that he was her assultant.

"If I really feel like striking fear into my enemy, maybe." Gracie smiled and got up once he allowed her to.

"Now that you are here, five minutes late, I might add, we may begin." Ozpin sighed and sipped his coffee.

"If I might add something, that may be the last time I am late." Gracie smirked.

Ozpin smiled and put his mug down. "Today, we are simply going to focus on altering time on yourself. You can speed yourself up, or slow yourself down, which is not really helpful unless falling."

"Okay. So how do I do it?" Gracie smiled eagerly.

"First, calm down. If you are too excited, something will go terribly wrong. Our semblance takes extreme concentration."

"I'm sure it's not as hard as you say it is." Gracie sat down and focused.

A slap caught her off guard and she looked up to see the end of Ozpin's cane in her face. "You aren't going to be able to sit and concentrate in batter."

After hours of practice, Gracie began to get the hang of altering time for herself.

"Alright, come back tomorrow, same time and you better not be late." Ozpin smiled.

"You bet I won't be!" Gracie waved and ran off toward the ship.

While Gracie was riding to the city, her scroll vibrated. It was a group call from Blake.

"If you can hear me we need help!" her voice came over muffled with screams from Sun.

"Big- robot- Tortwick- Help!" was all Gracie could catch before the call was disconnected.

Gracie quickly got off the ship and ran towards the explosions. She jumped off the overhang as the others landed, causing Gracie to land in front of them.

"What are we doing?" Gracie yelled, pulling out her daggers.

"Fighting that thing! Freezerburn!" Ruby yelled, firing herself backwards.

Blake jumped back along with Gracie while Weiss and Yang worked together to make a steam cover. Everyone scattered to confuse the lasers and were taking turns dashing in and out.

"Checkmate!" Ruby shouted.

Weiss and Blake moved in, taking short jabs at the feet of the robot. Quickly jumping up, Weiss disabled its lasers, blinding the stolen military suit. The two jumped back as Roman got an idea of where they were. Weiss took a hit, and while she was being launched back, she cast a glyph on Blake, moving Blake fast enough to cut down some missiles.

"Ladybug!" Ruby yelled.

It was Blake and Ruby's turn to attack the Mach suit. They worked together to hit the legs repeatedly and jumped together to brake one arm off of the machine.

"Rose Garden!" Ruby fired at the mech suit while Gracie took her daggers and combined them into a double sided spear staff.

The two girls charged at the suit with speed and stabbed their ends into the other arm of the mech suit and fell back so Yang could have some hits in. The robot managed to throw her through some cement pillars.

"Yang!" Blake looked in worry.

"She's fine," Ruby explained, "every hit she takes makes her stronger. That's what makes her special."

Yang had stood up by now and meet the punch from the robot with her own hands and managed to punch the last arm to pieces. Roman made the suit then kick her away.

"Bumblebee!" Ruby looked as Blake caught Yang with her weapon and began speeding her up by flinging her in circles.

"We have to slow it down it that move is going to work." Gracie and Weiss came up beside Ruby.

"We can use iceflower." Ruby looked at Weiss who got into position.

As those two fired at the mech suit, making it freeze up in places, Yang released and flew at the suit. She punched it and managed to shatter it like glass, sending Roman flying out of it unharmed.

"And I just got this washed." Roman muttered, brushing off his suit.

"My turn." Gracie began to speed herself up with her semblance, not caring that she wasn't ready and charged at Roman.

Everything was in fast motion for her. A new woman suddenly appeared and the two were gone before Gracie even moved an inch. Gracie quickly stopped what she was doing and looked at the others.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Well, you began to glow and a geared glyph appeared beneath you, but you started going slower instead of faster." Weiss explained.

Gracie growled angrily and folded back her ears in anger. "I'm never going to learn this in time."

"Learn what?" Yang looked at her.

"Nothing." Gracie mumbled and poked her ears back up.

"Aren't you going to hide your ears?" Blake questioned, tying her bow back on.

"Nah. It's time I stop hiding who I am." Gracie smiled and looked at the mess her and her team made. "Let's go before we get stuck with cleaning duty."

Everyone nodded before leaving the scene and returning to Beacon.
