Two girls stood in a dust shop, both about the same age, did they know each other, no. Were they going to, yes.
"I'm friend's with the monster that's under my bed, get along with the voice's inside of my head, you're trying to save me stop holding your breath-" the lyrics to Enimen's 'The Monster' blared in one girl's headphones as the other girl listened to another song.
Gracie, wore a green cape with jeans and a t-shirt. She didn't like dresses or battle skirts. The other girl wore a red cape with a dress and some sort of box in her back.
"-my OCD concen me in the head-" Graice's music was interuped by a man with red glasses.
"Hey, hands up, kid." he pointed a sword at her.
"You really don't want to do that." she smirked before lunging at him with her daggers in hand.
Within the next few seconds, there were two broken widows, five broken red sunglasses, and two girls out in the street holding weapons, facing off with a man holding a cane.
"Well kids, I think we can say it's been an eventful evening and as much as I'd love to stick around I'm afraid this is where we part ways." he pointed the bottom of his cane at the red caped girl and fired before firing at Gracie.
She was ready and jumped out of the way, but got caught in some of the remains from Red's attack and burned her hand. As Gracie clutched her hand in pain, the man grabbed her by the cape and easily carried her to a roof. "You don't get out much do ya, Green?"
Gracie growled and kicked his legs out from under him before jumping away. Red had finished climbing by then and had joined them on the roof.
"Persistent. End of the line, Red, Green." He tossed a crystal at them and fired a shot.
"Get out of the way!" Gracie moved to shield the red cloaked girl and waited for the impact, but never felt it. When she turned to see a woman with blonde hair and a black and purple cape, holding back the shot.
The woman reajusted her glasses before firing at the ship. Graice and Red took up positions on either side of her. A few shots came from the plane, so Red decided to change her scythe into a gun and fire. To Gracie's surprise, it had no effect on the plane. All three of the ground stricken people had to watch the convicts escape.
