Bible Verse: Romans 11: 36 For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be the glory for ever. Amen.
What this means for our lives: It means that God is in control. It means that we should glorify Him in all things because everything is of, through, and to Him. Everything we do should honor Him.
Apply this to our writing: Our writings should glorify God. No, they don't have to share the Gospel every three words, but they should have Christian themes of love, loyalty, and sacrifice.
We should also make sure our writing does not make sinful acts seem okay. For example, a character sleeping around, would best not be portrayed as no big deal. It should show some possible negative consequence like an unintended pregnancy or STD or something.
Obviously we aren't perfect, and my writing probably has some things in it that it maybe shouldn't, but as Christians people are watching us. There are curious people who will look at Christians to see if they can see any difference from everyone else in their actions, and they should be able to.
