1) LISTEN!!!!!! (Duh, how are you supposed to understand if you don't listen!?!)
2) Ask questions if you don't understand. Most the time they're happy to explain.
3) Don't be rude
4) DO NOT be condescending.
5) DO NOT ever laugh at ANYTHING a person believes.
We need to understand other people's beliefs for several reasons.
1) It's nice.
2) You should always care about people as a person, not just a potential convert.
3) It can be really interesting
4) It can be fun.
5) If you want to witness (which you should.), how are you supposed to do it if you don't know anything about them.
6) It will give you an opening to talk to them about your faith.
