1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Apply this to your life: Hello, be an example, stand out, be faithful, don't you dare let anyone act like you're horrible because you're a teenager.
Let's face it, we've all met at least one adult who thinks all teenagers are horrible and rude. We need to respond in a better way than a lot of our first instinct, rolling our eyes and practically proving their point. (I'll admit. I've done that multiple times before.)
We need to prove them wrong by being what Jesus wants us to be. We need to be kind and loving.. That will accomplish more than rolling her eyes and mumbling under our breath.
Apply this to your writing: Have strong teen Christians. For example, in the story I've only got a page of so far, it's about three teenagers (Vera, Caroline, and Leon) who are sharing the Gospel and worshipping God in a time when Christianity is illegal.
They're all in teens, but they're going to show the faith that martyrs have shown.
(If you want to read more about martyrs, I really love Jesus Freaks and Jesus Freaks Volume II by Voice of the Martyrs and DC talk. Extreme devotion is even better than that. It's also by Voice of the Martyrs. I'm sure you can find them on Amazon or a Christian book store.
I'll post one of the stories from one of their books in a second to give you a sample.)
