You have to be Flexible

Maybeck became stuck at an obstacle. There were pipes that led up the building, but he couldn't get up there.

"Charlene! You need to get up there!" he cried, pointing his finger up.

"Well, I'm sorry, but I can't really assist you right now!" she screamed back. It was true, she was kicking back dwarves from the Snow White's Scary Adventures ride, while using her gymnastic moves to avoid being hit by the things the little demons kept throwing at her. Suddenly, a pick ax flew by him, only inches away.

"Woah! Where did that come from?!" he asked, nearly hiding for cover.

"I don't know! Why don't you ask them!" Maybeck didn't even smile at this joke. OTs were not a laughing matter.

"Look, Charlene! One of us need to get there, and I can't, so the only other one is you!" He started to side step as more and more things were thrown at him.

"There really is nothing I can do, Terry!" Maybeck almost cringed at this. He never liked being called by his first name, ever. A shadowy figure started to appear from the Snow White ride. The Evil Queen.

"Charlene, we need to go!" he yelled, dragging her away from the dwarves, that were all now descending upon them. Just as Charlene saw the evil witch, Maybeck pulled out the small black fob, and pushed the button.

Maybeck woke up in his bed. His soft, warm bed. Then, he took the phone that laid on his nightstand, and sent a text that said, "Mission unsuccessful." Immediately, he fell back asleep, not wanting to see the disappointing replies that would soon appear.

"Okay, so last night didn't really go as planned," Finn explained, talking to the other six people. They were in the back of Crazy Glaze, the pottery store that Maybeck and his aunt, Jelly, runs. Everyone murmured in agreement.

As they all started to look over at Maybeck, he said in his defense, "Hey! I couldn't get up the building! It's not my fault! Do you think I do cartwheels and splits after school like Ms. Flexible does over there!" He gestured towards Charlene, who was sitting across from him.

"Sorry that there isn't enough of me," she replied, taking Maybeck's insult as more of a compliment.

"Maybe it's about time we ask Wayne for an upgrade," Amanda suggested.

"Maybe you're right," Finn sighed. "Philby can you get me to transfer over to Magic Kingdom tonight?"

"I'm on it, boss," Philby answered, already taking his laptop out of his backpack. Boss. That's a good feeling, Finn thought.

Finn woke up in front of Cinderella's Castle, and pushed himself off the ground. He sprinted down Main Street, U.S.A. in order to reach the Engine Co. 17 firehouse, where the old man lived. He needed to be cautious, because even though it was silent, that wasn't a good sign.

Instead of being up in his apartment, Finn found Wayne sitting on a bench. Wayne Kresky was an Imagineer that really loved his job. He's had that job, since Walt Disney was around, which probably gives you hint now as to how old he is.

"Wayne? What are you doing out here?" Finn questioned, a bit confused.

"Just enjoying the fresh air. Why don't you join me?" he replied, as his blue eyes twinkled. That was the thing about Wayne. When it came to a serious matter, his face was hard to read.

As Finn sat next to the man, he asked, "Wayne, if the Kingdom Keepers ever needed an upgrade, would it be possible to put one in?"

"Of course," Wayne answered. "It would take a few days, though." A small grin spread across Finn's face.

"Good, because we have a request."

"And what's that?" Wayne continued to look away.

"We feel as though the DHIs should be more... flexible. So far Charlene is the only one who can do incredible stunts, and that interfered with our mission the other day," Finn explained, facing Wayne.

"Alright, the installation will be ready in about three days or so. I will contact Philby when it's ready to be activated," Wayne said, as he got up from the bench. Finn almost started talking again, thinking that he would need to prove his point more. Before Finn could do anything else, Wayne took out the fob from his pocket, and pressed the red button.

Maybeck woke up in the central square, to see Charlene kneeled beside him. Philby had sent them here, because today he had gotten an email from Wayne saying that the new upgrade would work now.

"Ugh, get out of my face," Maybeck complained, pushing Charlene out of the way.

"Your welcome for making sure that you were okay," Charlene muttered.

"Whatever," Maybeck mumbled. "C'mon we have to get back to that building." He bolted for it, not even feeling that he was running.

Eventually, they were able to locate it again, very soon. In front of the pipes that led up, were the seven dwarves, and let's just say, Grumpy was looking extra grumpy if that was even possible.

"So we need a plan," Maybeck started, as Charlene nodded her head. "Let's run." Maybeck ran straight for the little men, leaving Charlene behind. As they all charged for him, Maybeck did a front flip over the dwarves. He had just meant to jump, but he was okay with doing a flip! Then, he started swinging up the pipes, with ease. Soon enough, Maybeck made it to the top, with one final swing and landed in a split. He just sat there in awe, when he remembered Charlene. He pushed himself up, and rushed over to the side of the building, to see Charlene already making her way up.

"Quit standing there! We got to get a move on," Charlene demanded, after she landed on the top of the building by doing a triple backflip. Maybeck stood there, gaping, until Charlene grabbed his arm, dragged him down the stairs, and into the building.
