5. No hope

*Brendons pov*

The Greenes were walking back to theirs house from the farm, upset.

Shane was trailing behind them accusing them of putting Sophia in the barn.

"Shane just leave them the fuck alone!" I yelled separating Shane from the greenes

"You need to back off" he said to me

"Get him off my land!" Hershel yelled pointing at Hershel, Shane got close to Hershel. Maggie ran up and slapped Shane

"Don't you touch him!" She yelled. Shane got up in her face.

I punched him, he fell to the ground.

"You gonna hit a girl?! Huh?!" I asked referring to Maggie.

The greenes went inside the house. Glenn followed them.

"I already have, you" he said

I shook my head

"Maybe you should leave" i say then started walking to the house.

I felt a strong grip on my arm,
I was spinned around and punched.

Rick and T-Dog held Shane back.

I spat in Shane's face then stormed into the house. I put my hand to my lip, it was busted back open from when he hit me the other day.

I walked into the kitchen, Maggie and Glenn were hugging.

"Hey" Maggie said said sadly

"I'm sorry for uh the your uh family" I say, I'm not really good with saying sorry.

"Thank you" Maggie said with a sad smile

"What are we going to do with the bodies?" She asked

"We bury the ones we love, burn the rest" I said, I nod at Maggie then walk out of the house

Beth collapsed, I'm guessing from shock. Hershel isn't around. He left.

Rick says that he might be at the nearest bar.

Rick and Glenn were going to go find him.

"Hey Brendon, can we talk?" Rick pulled me to the side

"Thank you for uh shooting Sophia, I-" I cut him off

"You don't always got to do the dirty work" I said "oh and you got room for one more?" I asked

"Yeah, were leaving in five" Rick said then walked to the truck.

I saw Maggie and Glenn, hugging and kissing.

Daryl came up to me

"You going?" He asked me

"Yeah, why?" I asked

He shrugged

"Take it easy darleena" I say with a wink. He shook his head defeated.

Glenn and Rick sat in the front, Rick was driving.

Glenn and Rick were talking.

Maggie said I love you to Glenn but he didn't say it back.

We got to the bar, we walked in with our weapons raised, Hershel was sitting there with his back towards us.

"Hershel" Rick called

"Who's with ya?" Hershel asked

"Glenn and Brendon" he says

"Maggie sent them?" He asked
