Chapter Fourteen
That night Joe helped me finish the editing and I uploaded the video, the next week uploading a simple one where I pretended everything was okay but truly, it wasn't. A week has gone since then and I decided I wouldn't upload anything this week and confront my sister instead since she doesn't know yet or I don't think she does. Liam hasn't bothered me either, nor have I seen him around, I'm thankful for that though. The sight of him makes me sick. Joe offered to come with me, he's been there for me more than ever recently but I decided that this was something that I had to be strong enough to do on my own. Leaving my car I go over to her house, knocking on the large blue door. Soon, she answers the door, a big smile appearing on her face, deciding to go with a friendly approach I smile too and give her a quick hug which altogether feels like a sickening act. I found out from Liam that it had gone on far longer than I thought and they went a lot further than kissing when he came and collected his stuff. We didn't speak much that day, I never responded to him when he told me about what had been going on keeping a stone cold face, I was not going to let him in. At one point he even said we could work through it but I just chuckled at walked out of the room, by then he gave up and left freeing me of everything he brought around.
"Hey, how are you?" I begin, following her inside through the end of the hall and into the small green kitchen where we sit at her dark oak dining table.
"I'm good, wasn't expecting you here today. Do you want a drink?" She smiles but I shake my head.
"No, I won't be here long."
"Is everything okay?" She asks me obviously confused with my answer.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking that?" I ask with a slight bitchy tone which honestly comes naturally in this situation.
"What do you mean?"
"It's just not normal for someone to sleep with their sister's boyfriend..." I comment, looking up at her and giggling at the shock on her face. "You seriously thought I wouldn't find out?" I ask rhetorically. When she doesn't respond I sigh, "don't talk to me again. You're pathetic." And with that I leave and hope I don't ever have to see her again.
