Chapter 4

TAYLOR'S P.O.V.

Beep! Beep! Beep! I woke up and turned off my alarm. ugg..i hate getting up so early. It's 6 am. I got up and curled my hair and put on some makeup. I put on a leopard tank top and a white v neck Aeropostale shirt with Aeropostale light blue jeans and purple converse. I went into my room and grabbed my phone and there was a text from Matthew

'Good Morning sleeping beauty ;)'

So I texted back. 'Good morning! :)'

I got on Instagram and looked through my news feed until the bus came. I got on the bus and sat in my seat. Matthew was next to get on and when he did, he looked so cute. he sat in the seat and just leaned on me and told me he was gonna die because he was so tired. soon he fell asleep and his head was on my shoulder the whole time. we got to school and I woke him up. he seemed a lot better then before. we got off the bus and he intertwined his fingers with mine. my heart was pounding against my chest. I looked down at our hands and then up at matthew. He was staring at me and I just smiled at him. I didn't really know what else to do.

MATTHEW'S P.O.V.

I finally got enough courage to hold her hand. I was thinking about asking her to be my girlfriend because I could not stop thinking about her. she was so amazing and I really liked her. I was nervous but she didn't move her hand away so I though she didn't have a problem with holding my hand. I don't know if she is just being nice though. I hope she likes me. we got to home room and I sat right behind her. I talked to some guys that was in the class and became friends with them. Taylor was talking to KaLeigh the whole time. we went to first period and we had to play kick ball since we finished the movie yesterday. I went into the boys locker room and changed. I walked out into the gym and everyone was there. Taylor changed into shorts. They weren't to short but they weren't to long. A lot of girls there were wearing really short shorts and I'm glad Taylor wasn't because I didn't was every guy in there to be looking at her ass. We stretched and then we had to run five minutes strait for exercise. then we played kick ball. I was on a different team than Taylor and so I wanted to win so much. just to show off to her. I noticed she was talking to another guy. he was wearing big black glasses and he had black hair that can to a point in the middle of his forehead. His name was Zak and I heard that he had a big crush on her. She was laughing to whatever he was saying to her and I'll admit it I was jealous that he was making her smile and laugh so much.

TAYLOR'S P.O.V.

I don't know if I was going crazy, but it seemed like Matthew was staring at me all of gym. I was talking to Zak. He has always been one of my friends and I knew he liked me. he was really nice and funny but he is just not my type. I would never think about dating him ever. I passed notes with Matthew in math and this is what it said.

Me: Hey!

Matt: Hey :)

Me: You did good in gym.

Matt: Thanks! jealous that I beat you? ;)

Me: Sure...

Matt: Haha.. So who were you flirting with?

Me: Flirting? umm...no! that's just gross. Me and Zak are friends but that it. and why? were you jealous I was talking to him?

Matt: umm...no not jealous that you were talking to him, but jealous you were having so much fun talking to him.

Me: I have more fun talking and being with you! xD

Matt: really?? :)))

Me: of course! Your just that awesome! haha ;)

Matt: thanks xD so are you! and I want to ask you something later at lunch ok.

Me: ok :)

(End of note)

I wonder what he want to ask me. well I guess I'll find out at lunch.

It was lunch. All the periods went by so slow because my mind wouldn't shut up about the question Matthew wanted to ask me. I was really nervous and I don't know why I was. I had nothing to worry about. I got my food and everyone was at the table that was yesterday. the only difference was Zak was there to. I sat beside Matthew and Zak was sitting right in front if me. I looked at Matthew and asked what he wanted to ask me. I said it a little loud and everyone at the table got quiet and stared at me and Matthew to see what he wanted to ask me.

MATTHEW'S P.O.V.

Wow I've never been this nervous in my entire life. Well here goes nothing.

"Umm. well I wanted to ask you...umm..if you maybe..umm..wanted to be my girlfriend?"


TAYLOR'S P.O.V.

Did that really just happen? did Matthew Sherrill just ask me out? YAY!!! This is so amazing!

"Of course :)" was all I said. I was really dating Matthew Sherrill. Everyone around us was like 'awwweee' other than Zak. he was really mad. I sorta felt bad about that, but he was going to have to get over me sometime, right? well me and Matthew held hands the rest of lunch.

After school

Matthew got off the bus at his house and when I got to my house he was there. I got off the bus and smiled. he was out of breath from running to my house that fast. My brothers looked at him and asked who he was and I told them he was Matthew and that he was my boyfriend. my older brother, Tristen, was 14 just like Matthew except Tristen is a Fresh man and Matthew is in 8th grade with me. Tristen looked at him and said,

"If you hurt my sister in anyway I will break every bone in your body."

Matthew backed up and I smiled and looked at Matthew and said,

"He's more aggressive than my dad, but my dad looks more scary, but don't worry because all my dad wants to know is if you really like me and that you are not using me and he won't have a problem. trust me he will like you." I told him.

"Um..I'm not so sure about this anymore. do I really have to meet your dad now, I'm really scared he won't like me." Matthew said to me trying to get me to change my mind about him meeting my dad today.

"Well you can't wait until I'm married to finally meet him"

"Why not I'm fine with that" Matthew teased me.

"Come on it's now or never." I said.

"Fine."
