I saw the tears swell up in his eyes again and my dead instinct was to run.

Chloe's P.O.V.
I fought agains it though. I couldn't run today. I was gonna get this over with now instead of dealing with it later. I bit the inside of my cheek and looked at the ground.
"I-I j-just don't understand h-how someone could do that to themselves when they are so...so perfect." Matthew stuttered as a tear flew down his cheek. he quickly wiped it away pretending that it never happened.
"Well I'm defiantly ain't perfect! and I get compared to my sister. that's why I'm here, my sister has a bunch of modeling jobs around here that she is doing and I stay here for they whole summer. but everyone compares me to her and I'm an ugly old rat compared to her. everyone expects me to be just like her. but when they get to know me they realize that I'm a totally different person."
He looked at me with sympathy and that's when I got aggravated.
"I'm not telling you this so you can feel bad for me." I said aggravated.
"I know" was all he said.
"So..me and Harris were..um." He stuttered.
"We..were gonna go...uhh"
"Matthew spit it out!" I said cutting him off.
"We were gonna go to the lock-in at the roller rink. do you want to come?" he asked.
"Sure" I smiled.
"Ok"
"Well..Do you know where a book store is?" I asked.
"Oh...yea.. just a couple blocks down." he said pointing north.
"Oh ok.."
"Do you want me to come?" Matthew asked in hope.
"Well I want you to come but I think you should stay with Harris. i mean you have all summer to hang out with me but you only have a week with him. so I'll see you tonight."
His smile faded off of his face and so did mine.
I started walking north and when I looked back Matthew was gone.
Matthew's P.O.V.
Well that sucked! I wanted to hang out with her all day... but she was right I needed to hang out with Harris. I mean I only had 6 days left with him. so I felt bad about not telling him about yesterday so I told him everything. then we played xbox and ps3 and soon enough it was time to get ready. so I got a shower and then put on a blue shirt with black shorts and black nikes.
Harris' P.O.V.
Well when Matthew came inside he told me all about what was bothering him yesterday and I was happy that he did because I wanted him to tell me everything. I mean we have known each other ever since we were little and we always tell each other everything. but the day went fast and it was time to get ready for the lock-in. I got a shower and then put on a green shirt with black shorts and nikes.
Chloe's P.O.V.
I got to the book store and I bought the sequel 'Shiver', 'Linger', and Forever' and then I bought 'The Book Thief'. I got to my house and I read Shiver until 5:00. then I took a shower, put on a blue shirt with 'Free Hugs' on it and neon yellow shorts. I fish tailed my hair and painted my nails blue with neon yellow cheetah print. Then I put on blue converse with yellow shoe string. as I walked outside at 7:00 I saw Matthew and Harris walk out of their house. I met them half way across my yard.
"Hey Chloe" said Harris.
"Hey Chlo" said Matthew not saying the e in my name.
"Hey" I said to both of them.
"Hhhhooooonnnnnnkkkkkkk" screamed the car in front of us. we all looked over and saw McKinsey gesturing us to get in the car. We all got in; Harris in the front passenger seat and me and Matthew in the back. Matthew took the window seat behind the driver and he made me sit in the middle. McKinsey started to drive and I watched Matthew take out his phone and get on twitter. he tweeted 'going to the lock-in tonight! gonna be so much fun! @mckiinseeyy @harrisbarton22 @that_chloe_chick (Chloe's isn't a real twitter. Account). Then everyone's phone went off except of Matthews. Harris looked at his and turned around
"Really Matthew? do you always have to tweet what we are doing?" Harris said rolling his eyes.
"Yep" Matthew replied.
I smiled and got out my phone and retweeted it. then I texted my mom
'Hey mommy! I miss you so much! :('
About a minute later I got a text from her.
'Hey Chloe! I miss you 2! but I hope you having fun!'
'Yea I am! Im going to a lock ing tonight at the roller rink up here with some friend I made yesterday :)'
'Good! have fun! :)'
I read the text and then got a text from someone. I read the contact name. 'unknown'' then I read the text.
'Hey Chlo! I can't wait to get to the roller rink! :) this is gonna be fun! ps of you want to know who this is look to you left ;)'
I changed the contact name to 'Matty' then replied
'Hey Matty! I can't wait to get there either! it is gonna be a blast! :)'
'Um Matty? no you can't call me that!"
"Why not Matty? ;)'
' No Chloe stop it! Just stop! >:('
'I'm sorry!'
I looked up at him while he read the text and he looked back at me with cold eyes that made me want to cry! I made my first friend and he was mad at me. he didn't say anything the rest of the ride. he just looked out the window. we got the at 7:30 and when we got in we got roller blades. Matthew was still ignoring me so I sat down and watched Harris, Matthew, and McKinsey roller skate. until McKinsey saw me and came over to me.
"What's wrong? you haven't skated once" she said stating the obvious.
"Matthews mad at me because I called him Matty when we were in the car and he won't talk to me." I said with a sad face.
"Oh...you called him Matty..yea he hates being called that." she said and then skated away.
Then Matthew passed by me and looked me in the eye. we stares for a while and he finally came over to me.
"You know I wouldn't have taken you here if I would have known that you wouldn't skate." he said.
"Oh..so bow you're gonna talk to me." I said irritated.
"Yea I am now. I'm over it ok."
"Well don't think it's gonna stop me from calling you Matty because it ain't."
"I figured." he said and we both got up and started skating. I fell 19 times and he caught me 5 times. Then around 12 we stopped and we sat on the ground and talked. I fell asleep around 2. when I woke up I was laying on Matthews chest. he smelled good. I got my phone out and tapped on the camera app and fixed my hair. I looked at Matthew and took a picture with him. he looked so cute sleeping! then I looked around me and i got really scared until I heard someone snore. there was about 59 people sleeping on the ground. I looked at my phone and the clock said 6:39am. I took a picture of everyone around me and tweeted it and said 'imagine waking up to this..I thought they were all dead until someone snored. xD' then I laid back down and fell asleep on Matthews chest.
