"Let's go Alex! Use your feet!" Niall shouts down the football field as our son runs after the football. Niall has been yelling pointers the whole game and Alex has been ignoring them, due to embarrassment.
Olah is now fifteen, and angry at us for dragging her along to her younger brothers football match.
"Olah get of your phone and watch your brother." Niall told her, getting an eye roll and sigh in response.
"Why can't I go out with my friends? I don't even like football!" She moaned.
"Because it's your little brother. We take you to places and in return I would like you to do this for him. Now just..... Oh Jesus! What's he doing." Niall winces rubbing his face.
"Dad!" She cringes.
"Don't worry about it." I mouth to our daughter giving her a smile. "Let him be its just for fun." I roll my eyes at him, copying Olah's actions and laugh.
"This isn't just fun Hun. This is a life or death situation. If his team doesn't win, then they don't have the pleasure to say that they won against one of the best kid football team in our town. We've been over this before." He rambles on.
"Just chill out with the yelling okay? You're embarrassing him in front of his friends."
"Oh, please I'm his dad. That's my j- Holy shit."
"Niall, there's loads of kids here!" I yell at him as I look at the field and see Alex kicking the ball towards the goal, swiftly passing the opposing team players. When one player goes to trip him, Alex kicks the ball and jumps over the players leg. The ball dodges the goal keeper and flies into the goal with speed. The seats erupted in cheers.
"That's my boy! That's my son!" Niall yells, proud to say that he has a star athlete of a son and can say his son won the winning point of the game. "We made a good one, Hun."
"Eww, dad that's gross." Olah shivers, looking like she's going to be sick.
"Don't be silly. We made you as well." Niall carried on embarrassing her.
"Please stop!" She yelled as we laughed at her.
"Come on let's go and celebrate." I said.
