MEGS P.O.V

A week after Harry and Alice's rooftop engagement party Niall and I decided to have ours. We didn't want a huge party; just something with our family's and close friends. Since Niall had found and love for cooking on the barbecue and it was summer, he suggested we have the party in our back garden. It looked beautiful we set up twinkling fairy lights and lanterns hanging from the trees, and also tables and chairs that littered the grass. During the night I had my family and family to be come up to me and gaze at my ring. They asked questions like.

"How did he propose?" and "What was his reaction like when you said yes?"

At the end of night I thought to myself thinking about how lucky I was getting married to Niall and becoming part of his family for real. I couldn't of wished for anything more. It was just perfect.

NIALLS P.O.V

Tonight was just perfect. In a couple of months or even in a couple of weeks I would be getting married to Meg. I can't wait to see what she looks like.

For our engagement party we had lovely lights hanging from the trees, and Meg suggested getting little different coloured lanterns to go in the trees. We also bought new tables and chairs for our friends and relatives to sit at. We didn't really want anything big so we just stuck to a nice barbeque on a nice summer's day with our families and friends.

To see my family and Meg's family together all as one was just great. Her family are just so caring and nice that I'm glad to be a part of that when Meg and I say 'I do'.

Later that evening when the sun sets the lads and I set up a little fire. Well tried to but we couldn't get it going. Knowing that Meg's Dad is good at this stuff he comes over to help with my Dad following taking the mick out of the lads and I because we couldn't light it. When the fire was finally lit and safe everyone gathered around it while I ran inside to get my guitar. When I came back out I took a seat next to Meg and she looked pretty cold.

"You cold princess?"

"No I'm fine thanks." She replied but I knew she was lying so I took off my hoodie and gave it to her.

"Hear."

"Thanks Ni." She said putting it over her head and leaned he head against my shoulder.

In the corner of my eye I could see Meg's Mum and Dad giving me a welcoming smile and I just gave them a nod and a wink in return.

Meg lifted her head of my shoulder and started blushing when I realised she saw her parents and I's little conversation whilst everyone 'arrrred'.

Before the night came to an end I stared strumming the tune to some songs and started playing one of Meg's favourite Ed Sheeran songs 'Tenerife Sea'. A minute in the song Louis, Harry, Liam and Zayn harmonized along to my singing whilst I got lost in Megs beautify ocean blue eyes.
