I AM SO SORRY FOR LEAVING YOU ON A SUCH A CLIFFHANGER, IM EVEN MAD AT MYSELF FOR IT BUT anywhore, here's the next chapter.........
***Andy's POV***
I tried to grab her hand but I couldn't reach her in time. Our eyes made contact for a second and hers pleaded for me to help her. Her mouth parted in scream, but no noise came out. And she fell.
The sound her body made when it hit the ground made me sick. I jumped off the roof and sorta landed on my feet, but it didn't matter. I fell on my knees next to her and the tears came rolling down my face. She had blood trailing out of her mouth and her eyes where closed. Blood was pooling around her head.
I shookily toon my phone out and dialed 911.
I kneeled in the crimson pool, holding her hand, until the ambulance got there. I had stopped crying but now everything was going by in a blur. I can't believe what jut happened. My brain won't let me. Only the voice of the paramedic brought me back. "Sir are you coming with us?" I nodded trying to fully grasp what was goining on.
I looked over to her and they were holding towels to her head and injecting her with all of this stuff. They had to take her shirt off and I saw it. Her wrist were red and cut open. They looked as if they had just stopped bleeding. The paramedic who cut her shirt off ran her hand over Lexi's arm and stood there with her mouth parted. A tear ran down her face as she looked to me. I looked back up at her, and we sat there for what seemed like an eternity but really was only a few seconds. She went back to her work after wiping her cheek.
We got to the hospital and she was wheeled out of the ambulance. I stood up and ran after her, until a pair of arms caught me and held me back.
Everything came back. My senses, my control, my memory. I went and sat in the waiting room not waning to cause a scene. Everything played through my mind. She did this because of me, well Scout really, but she did this because of me. She could be dead because of me.
The doctors called me back after a while.
"So Mr....?" He didn't look up from his papers. "Biersack." I said. "Mr. Biersack, your friend here has suffered from fatal head wounds." He paused as I leaned against the wall and buried my head in my hands. "But she is very fortunate, and has survived the wounds. But she won't be waking up for a while." He said looking up at me. I snapped my head up. "How long is a while?" "Well, you see. We don't really know when she'll wake up, but it could take months." He said placing his hand on my shoulder. "I am so terribly sorry." He said as he moved out of the way so I could go into the room. I hesitantly stepped into the small, white room.
The air was still and cold. The tile was white and clean, as was practically everything else in here. I drug my eyes from the floor and to the figure laying on the bed. He chest was barely moving up and down, signiling her breathing. The machines she was hooked up to would beep occasionally, breaking the silence of the room. I walked over to her body and looked at her wrist. They were sewn up and bandaged. I looked up to her face; which was pale and lifeless. Her lips were pale and her eyes were smudged with the remnants of her makeup. Even her fiery red hair seemed dull. I just stood there until my legs collapsed under me.
I let the tears fall without cease. It was all I could do. Cry.
I woke up to the sunlight bleeding through the windows. I walked into the bathroom and tried to fix my face, but I gave up after a few minutes. I walked back to Lexi and pulled up a chair to her bedside. I held her hand and sang to her softly. Rebel Love Song, the song she helped make. It was by far her favorite. Over and over again and again. I sang it until my throat became dry and my ears were ringing. But I didn't care. I eventually wasn't even making noise but the song kept playing in my mind. It was so peaceful until my phone rang.
It scarred me, but I got up and answered it.
"Hello" I answered feebly.
"Hey man, where are you? Why aren't you at your house." It was Ashley. "I'm uhh at the hospital. I've been here for the past day." "Oh my God man! Are you okay what's wrong." It's a long story. Could you come up here?" I asked. "Yeah I'll be up there soon okay?" "Okay" I hung up and sat back down to continue singing.
***Ashley's POV***
I pulled into the parking space and shut
The engine off. Jake, Jinxx, and CC(the new drummer) were all with me, and we all got out of the car. I walked through the doors of the hospital and was greeted at the reception desk. "How can I help you sir." A middle aged women asked us. "Uhh I'm looking for Andy Biersack?" I asked for him. She typed some stuff in her computer, and gave a puzzled look. "It seems like we don't have anyone here by the name of Biersack. Let me check with someone reall quick. You boys just wait here." She said as she got up and rounded a corner.
She came back minutes later. "So I asked a doctor and he said Mr. Biersack was here with someone named Lexi Brandon. Does that sound right?" She looked up to my face. "Yes, that's his girlfriend. "Yes. She's in room 4902C east hall. It's in the critical care long term center; you can't miss it." She said as she handed me a brochure type of thing and a pass.
"Poor guy." I heard her say as we walked off. Was she talking about Andy?
"What do you think she's doing in Critical care long term?" CC asked. "How am I supposed to know CC? But whatever it is, it must be pretty bad." We made it to the room eventually. And I opened the door to see a pale figure sitting in a chair by the bed. I heard soft raspy singing, and the beeps of the monitors.
"Andy?" I asked questionably, as everyone stepped into the room. He looked up from his position. His face was tear streaked and his makeup was smudged badly. He looked famished and more pale than usual. "What happened?" I asked as I saw a limp body of Lexi laying on the bed.
He just looked at me with a hollow gaze as he opened his mouth to speak.
