I climb onto the bus Monday morning, exhausted yet excited. I had gotten away with going to Nathans. Mother dearest had still punished me, but it was for something else entirely, something I didn't do.
While successfully hiding the fact that I had slept over a friend's house has left me exhilarated, the shame has started to sink in. My mother always says that I am sleeping around.
Maybe now she is right.
Maybe I am a whore.
Either way, I know one thing for sure.
Nothing will stop me from pursuing this friendship.
What I learned about the guys this weekend deepened our relationship and I'm not quite ready to give this up.
