Percy
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and Annabeth and I were laying together down at the beach. We loved to come down here together, because I was in my father's domain, and Annabeth just seemed to love the beach, even though she was a daughter of Athena. I was laying with my head in the sand, using my left arm as a pillow. My other arm was wrapped protectively around Annabeth. She had dozed off, with her head on my chest, and her arms carelessly thrown over my stomach. Out feet were intertwined, and the tips of my toes touched the water. I cherished moments like these, because after 5 years of fighting for my life, I finally had a chance to just relax with my girlfriend.

The peace was short-lived though, because Malcolm, Annabeth's half-brother, came to the beach.

"Hey! Percy! Chiron wants you and Annabeth at the Big House A.S.A.P."

"Okay, no problem Malcolm, tell him we'll be there in one second."

As Malcolm walked away, I looked down at Annabeth's peaceful form. I hated having to wake her, but if Chiron needed us I knew I had to.

"Annabeth," I whispered. "Chiron wants us down at the Big House."

She rolled over and looked up at me. "What?" She asked, still half asleep.

"Chiron." I answer, "He wants us down at the Big House.

"We better get going, then." She replied as she got up.

I stood up to my feet and allowed her to jump on my back. I saw Jason heading towards the Big House with Piper, so I started running. I easily caught up to Jason, even with Annabeth on my back. As I ran, she yelled in joy and campers turned to stare at us.

"Seaweed Brain." She said as I slowed my pace to a walk and fell in line with Jason.

"Yes Wise Girl?" Annabeth just chuckled.

"Hey Perce," said Jason, "any idea why Chiron wants us all at the Big House?"

"No idea," I answered, "maybe the Gods want to see us for something?"

"Maybe." Jason simply replied. We walked the remaining 5 minutes in comfortable silence. The Seven had grown incredibly close after the war, and we told each other basically everything. The only thing that was never shared was details about Annabeth and my time in Tartarus.

Flashback- 3rd Person P.O.V.
It was the night that the Giant War had ended. Everyone from both camps were too exhausted to do anything. Not only that, they were grieving. Both camps had fallen soldiers, friends. But no one was more exhausted and mentally torn than The Seven. They came to Camp on the
Argo II looking like shit.

Jason stepped off the ship first, holding Piper's hand. A few cheers from the Romans came to see that one of their heroes and (possibly) prætors was back safe and sound. Then came Frank and Hazel. Some of their closer friends came and hugged them, but they stood with Jason and Piper beside Chiron. Then came Leo, and fireworks were shot from the ships canons. His first words were, "I'm back, baby!" Even his cheerfulness, though, was dulled down, reduced to its minimum.

Mutters started as people wondered where Percy and Annabeth were. Camp Half-Blood was the most distraught of the two, seeing as Percy and Annabeth both belonged there. Camp Jupiter, though, had grown quite fond of Percy, and were rooting for his safe arrival as well. Everyone but Octavian that is. Finally, they came down, and the cheers died on everyone's lips as they saw the condition the heroes were in. They were leaning on each other heavily, Annabeth's ankle was wrapped up and Percy had more scars on his face alone than on the other 5 had altogether. They looked tired, and as if every step took them an unbelievable amount of strength. They looked broken. No one dared approach them. They made their way over to Chiron in silence.

That night The Seven slept together on the floor of the Poseidon Cabin. They had piled all of their blankets together on the floor, and taken one GIANT blanket from the Big House and sat together. Hazel and Piper cried in relief, and Frank and Jason looked like they were trying to hold it in. Leo sat smiling sadly. And Percy and Annabeth sat huddled as close to each other as humanly possible. They all shared their stories, all except for Percy and Annabeth who didn't say a word. Eventually they did. Not one nightmare was had that night. They were each others life lines.

The next night, the nightmares began. The screaming rotated between them as they slept in their own cabins. When a scream was heard, you would see 6 figures all running towards it, and shortly afterwards, it would stop. After a few weeks, the nightmares became rare, and were only had on bad days. The only exception was Percy and Annabeth. They helped each other struggle through, and eventually they got better, but they still had nightmares at least 4 times a week.

"Percy? You good there man?" Asked Jason, bringing me out of my flashback.

"What? Oh, yeah. Just....thinking." I replied.

"Whatever you say," Jason said doubtfully.

"Let's head in," I suggested in an attempt to bring the attention off of myself and onto the questions at hand. Why were we here? Why did Chiron want to see us?

"Sure." And with that we stepped through the door.
