A Beautiful Melody

>Alto<

   "Welcome back ho-"Rosa began.

  "Mom! you will not believe what Alto,did he went into the forest and nearly killed himself fighting a pack of wolves."Lisette said as she pouted her green eyes glaring at Alto.

    "Almost killed me is an exaggeration."Alto sighed.

   "I don't want to hear-"Lisette started to scream"

 "Lisette!calm down,as your mother i'm telling you that Alto is a boy and they can be very wild at times.We have to just respect that about him.Anyways did u forget that today is a special day?"

  "Huh?"Lisette asked clearly perplexed.

"Oh no!Looks like someone forgot their own birthday"Alto said as he laughed loudly.Rosa quietly chuckled behind her hand.

   Lisette suddenly found her skirt very interesting"umm i didn't forget i was just so busy"she said blushing.Alto thought about it and from what they talked about on their way home and found that true.She first helped Rosa clean the house,then helped some elders in town and after that went to tell the story to the children.She really needed to rest.

   Rosa composed herself and said"come on theres going to be a feast in this house to celebrate my little girl becoming 17".She squealed a bit.

     "Fine but be more careful Alto if u got hurt i wouldn't be able to live with myself."Lisette said turned away.Alto could see a hint of a smile so he joined in the smilefest as well.They then sat down and enjoyed one of the greatest meals they'd had in a while and conversed about their days.After dinner Alto took Lisette into her room.

   "Hey,um,i'm sorry about the scare i gave you before."He said scratching his neck.

"Its ok,i'm sorry for overreacting i'll do my best to not be such a drama queen next time."She looked down.

"I got you a present kind of its the item you found with me when you guys adopted me."Alto then revealed a beautiful blue necklace.

Lisette gasped"are you serious,please uh you don't have to"

"No i want you to have it."Alto said determined.

"This is too much.Its the only thing that ties you to your old life."Lisette said suprised at the glittering gift.

"its the least i can do,you guys adopted me into your family and treated me as if i was a part of it.You raised me,fed me,and even gave me the name i have right now.You accepted me while i dealt with amnesia.I don't even think this can make up for all you two have done for me in the past three years.Will you accept it"

  "Well i guess i have no choice,don't worry i'll treasure it....and if you ever want it back don't hesitate to ask"Lisette then put the necklace around her neck.

Alto began to blush"you look...stunning,um was that wierd"

  Lisette too began to blush"umm no its okay thanks anyways though."

    The next morning:

Alto woke to the sound of a beautiful voice.It was unlike Lisette's and Rosa's.It seemed to be the perfect mix of fierceness and gentleness.It was an nice way to wake up but he was having a good dream about a huge feast.Those biscuits were pretty good.He felt himself drooling so he headed into the bathroom.As he moved the sound seemed to be getting louder.He began to wander outside of his home.Its coming from the forest?he thought to himself as he entered the green area.As Alto entered the forest he saw a woman.She had silver hair with a curved witch hat.She had golden eyes,and a cloak that barely covered her whole body,pale leggings and sleek black boots.

  "If it isn't my one of my favorite people"the woman said as she stopped singing.She began to smile at Alto in a warm but creepy way.
