Crystal-what!?!

  This event scared lisette.Could it have been that witch from before?No she seemed too sincere to do something as heartless as to freeze someone's life.So what happened to this man?Would it happen to everyone else?These were questions that ran around in her head and she and Alto walked to their home to check on Mom.Alto seemed equally concerned seeing that he wasn't talking either.They both wanted to find out more,but the mayor ordered them to go home he was just so concerned.

"Where were you guys?!I was so worried i woke up and neither of you were in sight.I thought you might have been hurt or been done to as Otto"Rosa cried and she hugged the both of them."Alto wait is that a bite mark,no there are multiple i must've missed them from yesterday,Lisette was right lets get you bandaged up"

"Ms.Rosa i'm fine"He said as she began to push him into the bathroom.he seemed to flich as mom pushed him into the bathroom had he realized he was so banged up?

 "this is terrible how did this happen to Mr.Otto he was such a strong man and his daughter,Mina,her baby brother was just born,why did it have to be him"Alto said as he punched the wall.

  Rosa was doing her best to bandage Alto as he was moving around way too much.This was just terrible why did this have to happen to Mithra.They were such a peaceful and calm community.This all just bothered lisette how long has this been going on.She doubt Mithra was the first village to be hit by this strange occurance .

 "I need to do some-"

"Alto no!!Your too sensitive to other people's pain.That of course is an amazing quality but when it relates to things like this you can be unstable."Rosa yelled.After all this time she had become so protective over Alto.As if she was his real mother.This made lisette realize she had to do what she did best.

  "Lets eat something"Lisette said rubbing her stomach"I'm famished."

"That was bit random"Alto said confused.

"If we can't leave the house we might aswell be satisfied with our situation.We have each other and thats all that matters so let's all just be happy ok"Lisette said with a smile.

"Well said,Lisette,your right lets eat and lisette your helping me cook,Alto you can help to.Lets see if a hunter can chop some vegetables."Rosa said walking off to see what was left to make a meal of.

 And so the small family cooked together and developed a meal that wasn't as grand as the one from the night before,but it was still nice since they had one another.Throughout the whole meal Lisette thought to herself about what happened to Mr.Otto.She began to get ready for bed when she saw Alto putting on his exploration gear.She approached quiet enough so that he couldn't hear her.

"Ok thats it,now let me see about my supplies.Lisettes probably gonna hate me when i get back hmmm i better be quick..."

"And where will you be going sir.Oh wait i know your going to check on Mr.Otto to try and find out what happened.Am i right or am i right?"Lisette said walking up behind him.

"Oh lisette!?!hey"Alto said as he jumped."Didn't see you there.umm as for seeing Mr.Otto i'm not going to find out more,i just need some air."

Lisette looked at him with her arms crossed"Mhmm"

Alto sighed"Your right,but i want to try to help,this is serious and if it is some type of plague then we need to find out or the entire village might become a crystal mess"

"This is the good and bad part of you,your so caring.Its good because your so willing to help anyone whos being hurt.Whether its a villager or a stranger like that Hilda girl,she was nice,but you just spoke to her not knowing anything.Its bad because your so selfless and always ready to give yourself up for the good of someone else."

"Fine i'll stay..."

"Good and just to be sure i'll be sleeping with you tonight to make sur you don't leave."

"Ummm Lisette that might not be the best idea since we've gotten much older"Alto began not being able to look her straight in the eye.His skin red as an apple

"calm down your my brother its ok.Gosh you seem to think your all grown just lay down already"Lisette said entering the bed.Alto entered his bed and lied down silently.

"You know you don't have to get all flustered.Your practically blood,i'm just doing this to make sure you don't leave during the middle of the night.Remeber the last time we slept like this"Lisette began with her eyes closed.

"Yeah,The summer festival from 2 years ago.I ate too much,the food was so good i didn't want to stop eating.It was almost like i was inhaling the food"The siblings laughed together and then the room fell silent once again."i fell asleep and got the scolding of my life from you the next morning"

Lisette didn't know why,but she wanted to recreate that moment in their lives."Alto do you want to hold hands like last tiime,i mean if you don't want to its ok,its just...."

Alto took lisette's hand and fell into a deep sleep.Lisette liked this gentle part of him the peaceful side because at times he could be pretty violent.She liked it when it was just the two of them he seemed less likely to kill himself when he was alone with her.She then followed Alto into a deep slumber.She began to dream about talking animals under the sea.
