After Kaitie opens her gifts, reads her cards and we have some food, Marshall calls out on the micro phone "Lets take a minute and slow things down. So, all of you love birds go out and skate together."
I walk..well skate up to Liam.
"Let's go skate together. Please?" I ask him before the song comes on.
"Okay. But slow." Liam takes my hand in his and we skate out onto the floor where everyone else is skating, whispering things to their! boyfriend or girlfriend.
"So babe, what was Marshall saying about you and your voice? I didn't know you could sing." Liam smiles down at me and I look up at him.
"Well, Kaitie wanted me to do choir because I guess her and Courtney thought I could sing. Then the teacher; Mr. SoDo, heard me singing and gave me the biggest part in all the Show Choir performances. And i quiet the next year to be in silent reading." I explain my answer and remember the first day in choir.
"You were in choir and then dropped out too?" Liam's face lit up for some reason and I giggled.
"Yeah, I'm guessing you did the same?" I look back up and Liam nods.
I look in front of us as we slowly make our way around the corner of the rink.
Liam bumps into the railing and almost makes me trip.
"Don't trip!" Zayn shouted to me as he passed, with Courtney by his side.
I flip him off and he laughs, clutching his stomach. He must be drunk.
"Well, when we get home i wanna hear you sing me a little tune." Liam smiles and i just laugh and give him a peck on the lips.
"I love this song!" I clap my hands all giddy and laughs at me.
"Kiss Me? You like this song? I personally don't like it." He asks me and I give him a fake glare.
"I love this song and you are doing to skate with me until it ends."
"Fine. But you have to make it up to me." He gives me a smirk and I already know what he means.
We skate around maybe five times and Kiss Me ends.
"Emily! It's time to go home!" Liam calls to me as I'm still skating with Kaitie.
"Okay! Hang on!" I call back.
"And that's pretty much everything you've missed." I finish telling Kaitie about everything that's happened.
"Well, I hope Liam doesn't hurt you. And I'm sorry about inviting Niall here tonight. I didn't know and..well yeah, sorry." She wraps her arms around me and squeezes the breathe out of me.
"It's fine. I've gotta go. We left the kids home alone."
"Kids?!"
"Liam's cousins! No kids that are mine." We share a laugh and she says "Not yet there's not."
"Well it was an awesome party. Bye! I'll text you later, yeah?"
"That's fine!" I give Kaitie one last hug and run to the car.
"I didn't know it was suppose to rain tonight." I buckle myself in.
"Me either. I hope the kids are okay." Liam places his warm hand on my thigh.
"Me too. They should be. Braden is 12 almost 13." I assure Liam and he nods in agreement.

We finally arrive back and all the lights are on in the house.
I walk in and call out for the kids but no one calls back.
