Tanner is my high school crush, but I'm not sure he even knows I exist.
He's in my art, drama, physics, biology, maths, English and philosophy. He never talks to me, he never really sits near me in any lessons and he never notice of me.
"Y/N, I have moved you next to Tanner!" My teacher explained, snapping me out of my thoughts.
Great, now I have to sit with the most popular boy in the school who just so happens to be my crush.
"Oh, ok?" I replied in a hushed tone, I looked over at Tanner and he gave me a really welcoming smile.
I walked over to the seat with my stuff and sat down, many things were going through my mind. Will he talk to me? Will he notice me? What if I do something stupid.
Luckily I survived art where I had to sit next to him. Now for lunch, I walked over to my locker and put all of my books that I don't need in it.
I turned on my heel only to see Tanner and his group walking towards me, I see him turn and whisper something to them. I then saw him slightly jog over to me, what's he going to do?
"Hey Y/N."
"Hi?" I practically whispered as I looked over at his group in fear.
"Why are you so nervous? Do I make you nervous?.." he said while getting closer and closer to me. "Do you maybe wanna go out some time?" He whispered in my ear, I can tell he's not being serious.
"You know what, I don't. I'm sick and tired of your group coming up to me and finding it funny to mess with me, and now you've started by coming up to me and asking me out." I pushed him off of me and walked off to lunch.
I turned and saw his mouth drop, I didn't want anything to do with him if he's turning into one of them boys in his group.
~at lunch~
I was sitting by myself, eating my lunch when I heard someone walking towards me.
"Look, I'm not doing this to mess with you. I really do like you Y/N!" He sounded so genuine... but I still don't know.
"I'll give you one chance... come to my house after school and we can watch a movie or something I don't know." I said to him, I don't know if I trust him yet.
"Ok, see you there." He winked as he walked off, I can't believe I've gotten myself into this mess...
