Today in my philosophy class, we were answering the question "should we test on animals"
The teacher asked me to share my thoughts, I said that I am strongly against any beauty products that are tested on animals, no matter what I will not support a brand that tests on animals before humans.
An ignorant asshole in my class decided to tell me that my opinion is wrong and that we have to test on animals to be safe.
Yes that is their opinion and they are allowed to disagree with my own, but then they proceeded to tell me I was stupid for thinking that.
No, I am not dumb for believing animal testing is cruel. The animals are kept in possibly the worst conditions ever, kept in cages the width of an a4 piece of paper, horrible food and diseases that can spread incredibly quick.
If you where to be put in that exact situation, in the animals place, you would absolutely hate it.
I always check on the back of packages to see if they test on animals, if they have no indication of either I search it up on the internet.
But me being me I said nothing to him, so I'm saying the little rant I would have had in class here.
Also, don't start commenting hate because I will block you, I am not bothered if you disagree because you have a right to, just don't hate.
