River's P.O.V
Its been a week. A whole week since I've seen Aaliyah. I can't believe I've lost her again. My head is in my hands as I run my fingers roughly through my hair. I don't know what to do. I collapse on the bed and just stare at the trailer ceiling, trying to figure out where Aaliyah could be. I know she isn't in the Haven because after Raven took off to find her and left me with Rose and Jake, he came back and said she wasn't there. Then he took off, again, but this time in the sky and he hasn't returned either. I hope she is ok, and even though I hate to admit it, I hope Raven is ok too.
"River, have you seen Illia or Jake?" My eyes divert to Rose poking her head through the trailer door.
"No, don't worry, I'll go look for them." Jake as been becoming more and more suspicious to me. He is a little to nosey for my comfort and is always running off, sometimes with Illia. Its just wierd, and every time I find them, Jake is talking to Illia about something. I don't know what he says to her, but she won't tell. She only said it was a secret. That's it.
I hurry out to go looking for them in the forest, and soon enough I find them talking. Instead of barging up to confront them like I usually do, I hide behind a tree nearby and do a little eavesdropping.
"Why are you doing this Jake?" Illia says is a small, almost frightened voice.
"Because it's the right thing to do. If you talk to anyone about this or try to stop me, you know what will happen. And I won't hesitate like the other one did." What is he talking about and why is he forcing Illia to keep secrets? I peek around the tree and see Illia nod and they begin walking back to camp.
"You guys seriously need to quit running off, your giving Rose a heart attack every time." I say jokingly as I jog up to them, pretending I didn't hear any part of their conversation.
"Haha, don't worry, this will be the last time. Right, Illia?" Jake says and she just nods, keeping her head down towards the ground.
Once back to camp, Rose scolds Jake for running off and Willow begins cooking the squirrels he hunted out in the forest. Illia went straight in the trailer when we got back, and I'm assuming she also went straight to her bed. When I get back I will have to try and get her to tell me what's going on with her and Jake, but first I have to do my evening search for Aaliyah and Raven.

The room is hot and musky with all of the people crammed in this 'meeting hall'. I see Charlie walk up on the stage in the front with a microphone in his hands and immediately get annoyed.
"Welcome everyone, we have a very important announcement. You all have been doing phenomenally with your training, and I am excited to announce that we will be starting our battle training!" Battle training? What would we need that for?
A battle, obviously.
Whatever. What I meant was, what battle? Everyone starts cheering and throwing their arms in the air, except me.
"Now, if you want to be apart of something extraordinary and save the world you will have to go under a mental transition. It is a very safe process just for us to make sure you are fully committed to fighting on our side. We will start the process in a week. That's all for this meeting, have a nice day!" Mind transition?
No matter what, don't let them put you in a mind transition. Everything will be over if you do.
I wonder what it is.
Before I can do anything, bodies come swarming around me and hurry to the door out of the meeting hall. I find myself slowly movie closer to the exit, yet I haven't even picked up my feet. I make it out of the hall and practically gasp for air.
