The sun rose and hung itself in the sky. Sunlight entered Louis' room and pried its way through Louis' closed eyelids. He turned over and pulled the blanket over his head, groaning at the morning light. Suddenly, Louis sprang out of bed. Larry, who was peacefully sleeping next to him, was jolted awake. All she saw was the prince running out the door, still in his sleepwear.

Louis found Harry's bedroom and knocked on the door. He found that the door was unlocked. Louis pushed it open and found Harry asleep. "Wake up, sleepyhead!" Louis chirped, sitting at the edge of the bed.

"Dad, five more minutes." Harry groaned, pulling the blanket over his head.

"Harry, I'm not your dad." Louis said. Harry removed the blanket from covering his face.

"Oh, hi Louis." Harry mumbled, sleepily. He let out a small yawn. "What are you doing here?"

"I heard it was your birthday." Louis answered. "Since Danielle is out getting fitted for her wedding dress, my schedule is empty. I thought I'd spend my time with you."

"How did you know it was my birthday?" Harry asked.

"I have my sources." Louis replied. "So, what are your plans for today?"

"I have work today."

"Oh, I forgot to tell you that I spoke to King Stephen and he let you take the day off."

"You did that for me?" Harry asked. Louis nodded. "Why are you being nice to me all of a sudden?" Harry questioned.

"What? I can't be nice to you?" Louis smirked.

"No. It's just surprising. That's all." Harry said. "I don't have any plans for the day now. Anything you want to do?"

"It's your birthday. Why don't you choose?" Louis responded.

"Hmm... Get dressed. Wear comfortable shoes. I'll meet you outside your room in an hour." Harry said.

"That was absolutely not vague at all." Louis commented.

"Just do as I say." Harry insisted.

"You know, normally the birthday boy gets a surprise, not gives one?" Louis said as Harry pushed him out of the room.

"Well, maybe I'm not normal." Harry smirked.

"Yeah, you really aren't." Louis mumbled as he walked back to his room. Louis pushed his room door open.

"Louis, if you do that to me ever again, I will claw up all your clothes!" Larry threatened.

"Yeah. Yeah." Louis remarked nonchalantly. "Don't disturb me. I need to get dressed."

"Where are you going?" Larry asked.

"I don't know. Harry would not tell me." Louis responded, digging through his suitcase for something to wear.

"Ooh, a surprise date! I like it."

Louis stood up straight and narrowed his gaze at Larry. "It is not a date." Louis asserted.

"I bet it is. I bet he's taking you to a secret place in the middle of nowhere and then, you'd make out and fall in love again. After that, you'll move to a castle by the seaside to live with your 20 adopted children." Larry gushed.

"Keep dreaming. It is not a date." Louis insisted.

There was a knock on the door. "That was quick," Louis remarked. "He told me he'd meet me in an hour. It's barely been ten minutes." Louis opened the door. He saw brown curly hair and green eyes but they did not belong to Harry.
