Alit's POV:

"Who's he?" I asked coldly.

"This is, Rocket. A new Barian Emperor."

"Emperor?!" Merag, Dumon, and I yelled.

He nodded.

"Rocket, is an old friend of mine."

Merag eyed him suspiciously.

"Rocket, is going to kill, Iris, for you."

My eyes widened.

"No he's not!"

"Alit, it's the only way."

"No, it's not!"

"Fine, if you feel that way. Dumon, take him to the dungeon."

"What?!"

Dumon grabbed my wrists.

"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!" I screamed.

I tried to get out of Dumon's grasp, but he was a lot stronger than me. He pulled me away.

"NASCH, YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" I screamed, again.

~Iris's POV~

"You should get some rest."

"What about you?"

He smiled.

"I should keep watch."

"Ok, just wake me up, when you're tired," I said.

He nodded. I laid my head down on the tree. I wonder what's going on at the castle.

I opened my eyes. Alit was leaning on the tree, looking at me.

"Did you even get any sleep?" I asked.

"I don't need sleep. Not when the Shadows, are coming after you."

"The Shadows?"

"Vector, never told you?"

I shook my head.

"The Shadows are an organization, run by your uncle Shadow. This organization use humans for power. Iris, their after you, because you're not-

Suddenly the bushes rustled. I stood up. Alit walked over to me.

"Stay behind me," he whispered. "It may be Jake."

Jake Shivers. Trey's cousin. Why was he with the Shadows?

A boy suddenly appeared. He had black hair and hazel eyes. He looked like Rocket.

"Hello Alit."

"Jake."

Jake was exactly like Trey. He was nice, and gentle. He also had a gem stone. The Crystal gem stone. How did Jake, end up with the Shadows?
