Iris's POV:

We ran through trees.

"Get them!"

I suddenly heard foot steps, running after us. I gripped Alit's hand tighter.

"It's ok."

I looked at him.

"No one is going to hurt you, I promise."

We suddenly turned to the right. A cave soon appeared.

"If we get in there, we'll be in Barian. No one else can follow us."

I nodded. Suddenly something landed in front of us. We stopped. An arrow was in the ground.

"Alit?"

I looked at him.

"Run. GO RUN!"

He suddenly pushed me forward. I stumbled onto the ground. I looked at Alit. He looked at me. His eyes were filled with tears.

"Iris, go. You need to get out of here."

"Alit...I-

Suddenly an arrow came out of no where, and hit Alit. He grunted in pain, and collapsed.

"Alit!"

I ran over to him. He was bleeding from where, the arrow hit him. I pulled out the arrow, which made grunt in pain.

"Alit, please don't die."

He looked into my eyes.

"Iris...I'm glad I met you..."

Tears were streaming down my face.

"Alit, I love you," I said.

He smiled weakly.

"I know."

I leaned forward, and kissed him.

~Alit's~

Iris...This is all my fault. I shouldn't have brought her here. Suddenly the cell door opened. I looked up.

"Come on we need to save, Iris."
