Sorry for the late update, I almost forgot it was Tuesday. XD

--------------------------------------------------------------
I never knew how I could get used to bodies, dead bodies with pools of blood around them, because that day, they were the worst things I've ever seen.

------------------------------

He hugged Delirious, burying his head into his chest as he mumbled something only Jonathan could hear.

"I can't watch."

Delirious understood and hugged him closer, comforting him. "Just close your eyes, it's gonna be ok." He wrapped his arms around his ears as he nodded to Marcel to pull the trigger.

The body fell to the ground with a limp thud, it was over. The shot rang through everyone's ears, except Evan, who was still holding on to Delirious like his life depended on it.

"It's over, it's ok. Come on, we're gonna take you home, ok?"

Evan nodded and let the group lead him outside. He lifted his head and looked around the outside of the warehouse, he had never seen it before.

While they were walking Evan tripped on something on the ground, Jonathan caught him before he hit the ground. Evan looked down and gagged at what he saw. It was a dead body. He felt like crying so he stumbled backwards into Delirious once more and hugged him.

Jonathan held him for the entire trip to the van, understanding Evan couldn't remember them. But it was ok, because at least they had him back. He wasn't dead after all.

---------------------

"You ok, Del? You look like you've seen a ghost."

"Well I just killed someone, Ev. You could cut me some slack."

"Normally I don't do that, but I like you, so just this once I'll let it slide. But seriously, what's up?"

"I just don't think the guys have as much faith in me as you do."

"I'm sure they'll come around, don't worry. Tyler didn't like Brock at first either, but look at them now."

"I'm sure you're right."

"Exactly."

-------------------

Evan held his knees against his chest the entire ride to the apartment. He was in the back of the van with David, Tyler, Craig, Lui and Marcel. Brock was up front with Jonathan, who was driving. Evan didn't talk very much, he mostly stayed out of the guy's conversation as they cleaned their guns and such. They didn't pay much attention to him. Not that Evan minded, he had no idea who these people were.

When they got to the apartment, Evan felt a sense of familiarity wash over him for a split second as he stared up at the tall building. He then felt a nudge on his shoulder, he turned his head and saw Tyler smiling at him.

"Come on, we're going in now. Follow me." Evan nodded and walked behind him, they all seemed nice, considering Evan barely knew their names.

-----------------------

"This is the last place available in the city at the moment, well the last place that has the requirements you asked for. Eight bedrooms, one master bedroom with a personal bathroom, three other bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. As well as an open floor plan. The only thing separating the living room and the kitchen is a glass railing we can have removed."

"Sounds awesome. Looks pretty sick too."

"If you don't mind me asking, sir. Why did you want a place with so much space?"

"Because I'm looking for a couple roommates, and this place is perfect. I'll take it."

"Excellent decision, I'll call the landlord."

---------------

As they reached the floor their apartment was located, Evan tried to remember any detail about where they were, no matter how minuscule it was. He just wanted to remember something, anything.

It was still silent as everyone walked into the apartment, the guys putting their gear away and Evan standing awkwardly next to the couch. The guys almost forgot he was there, he just seemed so different from the last time they saw him. He didn't have that usual confident smile of his, his eyes weren't as bright as they used to be, and he had no idea what he was doing. It was like he was a completely different person.

Evan's eyes landed on a photograph that had been framed and placed on a small table next to the couch. It was a picture of all of them, including Evan. They were all smiling, like a group a friends should when they're together, but it was weird for Evan. He saw himself, smiling with these people he used to know, or rather he just met, and it didn't seem right at all. He couldn't remember that day at all, he couldn't remember feeling as happy as he must have felt in that moment. Instead, all he felt was longing, a longing to remember, to feel that joy he must have felt that day. But he couldn't, and he never thought he could.

-----------------

Evan held the cell phone as his friends gathered around him, huddling close together to fit in the small frame of the phone camera. They all smiled as Evan took the picture.

They were at the amusement park in celebration of their group and to have some fun. Everyone was having a great time, Lui was acting like a little kid as he spoke with his squeaker voice, Jonathan was gushing over the teddy bear prizes at the game booths, begging Evan to win something for him.

Eventually, Evan caved and won a bear for Jonathan, who he had been dating for about two months now. As soon as Jonathan saw the bear he wrapped his arms around Evan and kissed him on the cheek.

"You're the best boyfriend ever! Thank you so much!"

Evan chuckled at his excitement. "I'm sure you would say that to anybody that got you a teddy bear."

"No, only you! Because you are the best boyfriend in the world and I love you. I would never replace you."

"Aww, I would never replace you either, babe. Love you. Now let's go find the guys, alright?"

"Ok!"

-----------------

Jonathan felt a sense of relief when he realized that Evan couldn't remember the day that the picture had been taken.

Because he couldn't figure out how he was going to tell Evan that they had been dating for almost two years.
