Thursday 10:40 am

YASLIN DROVE ME back from the hospital a few hours ago. The doctor and nurse said since I had no severe symptoms that, I could be realized but needed to be looked after for a few days, so Yaslin volunteered as tribute. Scarlet came to visit right before they sent me home, she and Naomi both came, but they had class, so they didn't stay long.

I'm glad Yaslin is here, though. Scarlet is always with Naomi, which I don't mind, but she wouldn't have time to babysit me. Come to think of it, though, Yaslin doesn't really have that much time either.

"Hungry yet?" Yaslin asked as she peered through my bedroom door. All the lights were off in my dorm, except the kitchen. Yaslin had left me alone in my room to rest and stayed in the living room, only coming in every thirty minutes to check on me. "Water," I croaked, feeling the dryness in my throat.

"With ice and a straw?"

"Mmhm"

Yaslin closed my door lightly, presumably to get me some water and, hopefully, pain meds. As I patiently waited for Yaslin to come back, I closed my eyes; it was all I could really do since I couldn't play Sims or do anything I normally do. It was kind of boring, and I wish I could take Nyquil and sleep through the rest of these four days. My phone buzzed, which confused me since Yaslin was here and Scarlet was in class. Not many people have my number and the cheer group chat was muted, they talk too much.

I searched for my phone with my arm until I realized my dumbass was lying on it. After retrieving it, I quickly regretted looking at the screen because my brightness was all the way up, giving me an immediate headache. "Fuck" I mumble, fumbling with my phone to turn the brightness down. With my brightness alone the way down I looked at it, an unsaved number texted me.

Curious, I unlocked my phone and read the message, 'How are you feeling?' said the unsaved number. Did Scarlet get a new number? She would have told me this morning, but against my better judgment, I replied back to the number, 'Who is this?' Within a few seconds, the number texted back, 'its angel :).'
