"-Ey. Hey. Hey!"

I was startled awake by someone screaming at me. "Oh, looks like sleeping beauty is finally awake huh."

Ok ok. Get your bearings Xion. You're on the ground in a forest. There is a guy in a denim vest with spikes on top, covering a plain black tshirt, some ripped and faded jeans, and combat boots with the Union Jack on them. He's white and has a big, spiked, green Mohawk on his head.

Fingers snapped in front of me,"Hey anyone in there?" His voice was sarcastic and gruff. I blinked and he sighed,"You're lucky I found you the time I did or you would be dead." He sifted for something in his pack and grumbled to himself. After a bit, the man pulled out a water bottle. "Here drink this," his voice was surprisingly soft as he tilted my head and fed me the water. I gulped it down hungrily and croaked out a "thank you." He smiled back at me.

"So," he started out. "What's your name?"

I decided I had nothing to lose so I told him. "My name is Xion Rose Niore Dandelion, what is yours?" He let out a dog whistle,"Cool name. My name's Spikedelic Wester Chainsaw but just call me Spike. Anyways what's a chick like you doing out here in the woods bleading out her guts?", he asked with no filter. "I was kicked from a company I work in and that's how things run. Why did you save me?"

"I don't like living and knowing I could have saved someone instead of letting them die. I live by honest morals."

"That's pretty generous."

"I'm a pretty generous man."

And our conversation continued forward. I felt oddly comfortable in Spike's presence and it seemed he felt the same way.

Spike took care of me and my wounds as I healed and soon enough I was back on my feet. I was still slightly injured but I could move and carry my own weight. We decided to stay together considering we were in the middle of a vast forest and I had no where to go. I had learned that Spike's style was called 'punk' and most people don't seem to like it. They also get freaked by his bright yellow and gold eyes. I told him I rather find them pretty which he laughed at and thanked me. Spike is also an animal lover, he loves all animals no matter how they look. He seems intimidating to most people but he is honestly such a sweetie. And has seemed to claim the place as my best friend these past few weeks I've been wandering with him.

One day we were walking down a path full of snaggly roots and eerily leafless trees. The scenery would have bothered anyone else but Spike and I weren't affected by it. A twig snapped. We froze. Earlier, Spike had informed me this path was full of bandits but I had also informed him I know perfectly well how to skin a man with a small dagger, which I had. He just nodded as we entered.

Now, as I had the blade on the ready and Spike was in a defensive position around me, I was nervous. A group of about seven men emerged from the foliage and they all took a good look at us. "Well well, what do we have here? A twig trying to defend his little girlfriend?" All the men howled like it was the funniest joke on earth. Spike just tensed up as I feigned the act of the helpless girl. This is just like we planned.

'If we are ever encountered by bandits or thieves I want you to pretend your helpless. Be on the ready but act like you have never even seen a knife in your lifetime. After hunting with you, I know you're more than capable to take them down but it will catch them by surprise when the small girl can kick ass.'

Spike's words echoed in my head. I breathed in, and out. I can do this. The men sneered at us as one grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me away from Spike. I faked a yelp of pain and Spike's face contorted into worry, which was also fake of course. "N-no! Unhand her!", Spike demanded. The biggest and burliest of the men, -- which I guessed was the leader -- looked thoughtful before regaining the same smirk,"How about no?"

Memories crashed in my mind. All the greedy hands of old men and women. Their lusty stares and disgusting mouths. I was filled with rage. Spike glanced at me and gave me an almost inpercievable nod. I'm sure my eyes were burning like embers right now. With the too men holding me up by my forearm, I used my arm and core strength to press my feet to the one of the left's face. With speed and agility, I used his face to spring to to the other which I kicked right in the nose. They both dropped down to the floor and were clearly knocked out.

While this was happening, Spike was handling the rest of them. He was a whur of silver and red.

"Why you little--" I interupted the man trying to grab me as I hoisted myself, using his arm to wrap my legs around his throat. I was sitting on his shoulders from behind and strangling him with my thighs. Once he was losing enough air, all I had to do was lean back. He crashed to the floor while I nimbly lept off at the last minute. I winced as I landed because my wound seemed to be reopening. Three other men charged at me and I closed my eyes, waiting for them to be upon me. But all I heard was the sound of ripping flesh and metal, and their screams. When I opened my eyes, I saw the fallen bodies of the men and Spike covered in blood that was not his.

That's when I noticed his arm and eyes. His eyes were almost glowing and his arm was replaced by what I could only describe as a long metal blade with rotating needles. I found familiarity in his eyes and I could tell.

He was just like me.
