After we had both cleaned up all the blood off of our clothes, we gathered sticks and kindle to make a fire. We haven't really talked at all besides to inform each other when we were done washing. I wasn't scared of him, I just didn't want to seem like I was crazy to find out everything. Which I was. I was just so excited to find someone like me. I should have known with his crazy hair and awesome eyes.

Over "dinner" which consisted of scavenged rabbit and some non-poisonous berries, I finally brought up the courage to speak to him. "That was really cool," I sputtered out. He looked at me as if I told him I hated kittens,"What?"

"I said that was really cool!! Just the way you turned your arm into a weapon and -- and oh my gods your eyes. They were just glowing oh my gods Spike that was so amazing!! I can't believe I found someone just like me!!", I gushed. He just sat there in silence so I continued,"Ever since I was a baby I have been considered a dark entity for my eyes and my freaky hair and the way darkness called to me! Oh my gods Spike you don't know how happy I am."

He was staring at me with his mouth open. "Wait wait wait. Let me get this straight, you have freaky powers and were treated like an evil being too!?" I only nodded enthusiastically. "Well," he sighed and smiled,"I guess we had more in common than we thought." "I guess we do," I replied. The night went smoothly and soon we were smuggled in our shared sleeping bag.

I awoke to the smell of cooked meat and realized that Spike must have gotten up. I stretched my limbs and climbed out of the bag. "You can go wash up in the stream down the path, I've already gone," said Spike. I nodded and walked down stream.

Once I had reached the edge of the water, I placed my clothes on a hanging branch and carefully waged my way into the water. I shivered as I reached hip-deep water. I quickly dunked myself in the water and came sputtering up. The water was freezing but it felt nice to be clean again. After I made sure I was completely clean, I walked out and dried myself with one of the cloths I had brought from the H.Q. I then dressed back in my slacks and big shirt and headed back to Spike.

When I arrived, the food was ready and Spike as already digging in. After I was seated on the floor and also eating the meat, he spoke up,"So what kind of powers do you have Onnie?" I gulped down my food and replied,"Basically all a witch has. If I focus I can use most elements and converse with shadows and other beings that don't speak. Although, I don't know the full extent of my powers. How about you Spike?"

"Ah, I can turn any body part into any weapon with metal. Like earlier, when I turned my arm into a chainsaw. It's kind of my signiture and preferred weapon to use."

"Ohh so that's what that was called. I've never seen a 'chainsaw' before then."

"Really?"

"Really."

"You have a lot to learn my friend."

"I guess I do," I laughed.

In about a few days time, Spike and I arrived in a small town. It was mostly made of a bazaar and people dressed in the most extravagant colors ran the shops. Spike and I decided that we need some more supplies and maybe some clothes and food so we decided to go looking.

Strolling by the venues, we actually felt pretty accomplished. We got; some meats and vegetables to eat, along with some pots if we want to make broth or stew, we also got an extra blanket for when it gets cold and more basic survival tools. I managed to get some extra clothes while I'm at it so I can wash the ones I always wear. The day was coming to a close and we were walking by the last stalls when something caught my eye.

I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at one particular stall. Come here. It seemed to whisper. I couldn't even hear Spike trying to talk to me or get my attention. I walked over to the stall, almost in a trance. I looked over all the items in the stall and came to a realization, they were all tools of the dark arts. Cursed weapons, ancient charms, and staffs of the like. One special staff caught my eye. It was black as ebony and was just beautiful. It was in the shape of a rose with a long, green stem and the bud just above my shoulder. Inside of the bud was a light pink gem. This, I thought, this is exactly what I want. It seemed as though it was made for me.

"How much?", I questioned the Shop Keeper. "350 silver coins," the Shop Keeper replied with confidence, as if he didn't expect me to have that much. Good thing I came packed with money. I slammed the coins on the counter and grabbed the staff.

A surge of power rushed through me. At that moment, I knew this staff was meant for me. Spike watched with amusement in the sidelines, the Shop Kepper's face was more than enough to show how much he doubted me before.

Spike and I were a ways back into the woods before he finally questioned what had made me buy the staff.

"I'm not sure Spikes.. It just.. Called to me. And the second my fingers touched this staff, I knew this is what I've always been looking for. All witches need some sort of tool for their power, right? And this is my tool!"

"Wow, so I guess you guys were made for each other huh." I just nodded. "Are you going to name it or anything?"

I thought about this for a bit. "Hmm.. I'll name her Ingenuity. It means to be clever and original. I'll need her for when I take over the world," I said in all seriousness. Spike laughed,"Alright, I'll be with you every step of the way." And it was then that we agreed we would conquer the world together, and we would always be together. Every step of the way.
