Pain flares all over my body as I slowly roll on my bed. Those bullets might not be real but they sure hurt. I groan as I get off my bed and change my sweat caked clothes from last night. I glance at my clock as I stretch. The clock face reads 1300. While deciding what to do my stomach starts to growl, guess it's decided then. I remove my sword from its perch on the wall and slide it onto my back. With that done I exit my room and head towards the cafeteria.

I sit down at one of the tables with a plate loaded full of toast, bacon, eggs, sausages and a few potatoes.

“I was just about to go wake you,” a voice says behind me.

I turn around just in time to see Lily sit down next to me and steal a piece of my toast.

“Is that so?” I ask as I put some of the bacon in my mouth.

“Yes it is. You can’t sleep all day,” she says with a smile.

“Well, I think I deserve a rest after I saved you last night.”

“I had everything under control,” Lily says with a hint of anger.

“So you weren’t cowering in a ditch then.”

I see Lily straining for a comeback and I smile. She opens her mouth and is about to shout something at me when someone beats her to it.

“Someone stop him.”

I turn and see a man running through the cafeteria followed by a group of about five.

“Stop him,” the same person shouts out again.

I look around and see that no one is moving. Lily shrugs when I look at her, so I shrug back. I slowly stand with the metal tray that was holding my food on it a second ago in my hand. As the man runs past I swing the tray and it smashes into the side of his head. The hit sends him off balance and, after a brief stumble, ends up on the ground after flipping over on a table.

“Thanks Rory,” Meera says as she approaches me and gestures to the others to pick the man up.

“Hey Meera,” I smile at her. “Why was I stopping him?”

“Training exercise, we were allowed to use any means to catch him,” she explains.

“Nice work then.”

“Thanks.”

“Oh and I almost forgot,” I say as she starts walking away. “How’s Amy?”

“She’s good. She has been training so much that I barely see her.” I can hear the sadness in her voice.

“Well why don't go and watch her train, I'm sure it will mean a lot to her.”

“That's a good idea. Thanks Rory.”

With that she walks off with the others in tow, carrying the unconscious man.

“So Dr Phil, what's your plan for the rest of the day?” Lily asks as we sit back down.

“Well I was planning on sleeping after seeing if those bullets caused any damage to me,” I inform her.

“Oh yeah, those things hurt like hell. Look at this,” she lifts up the front of her shirt and I see her stomach covered in bruises.

“Those must of hurt,” I say with a smile.

“Na, they tickled,” she says sarcastically.

“You want to head over there with me?” I ask as I finish the last of my food which I removed from the metal tray.
