I fell to the ground and stayed still until the music faded out. I stood up panting, and watched as Emily said something to the other girls. All I could think about was that stupid dream from last night.

"You'll see. Just give it time" kept repeating in my head.

"Just give it time"

"Time"

Yeah cause I have all the time in the world. Provincials are in a few days, then nationals a week later, possibly packing up all my things and moving to London, and at all the same time, I'm still waiting for Tanner to wake up.

"Leigh. Are you okay?" Audrey asked grabbing my arm.

"I'm fine" I smiled. She looked me in the eyes, almost to see if I was lying, and sighed after a few minutes.

"If you say so" she muttered going to the floor for her duet.

The instrumental for Better then Revenge by Taylor swift rang out and she kicked her leg up behind her head, straight up in the air, grabbing Jasmine's hands and bringing their bodies closer to the ground, stretching their legs out. They let go of each others hands and did a back walkover, to a back handspring, going down into splits, turning into straddle, and doing a handstand press. Next, the did some leaps, and more dance components.

After their dance was done, we all we handed a pair of black spandex with like half a tu-tu on the back and a sparkly blue tank top to try on.

Sick outfits. My next outfit for my solo, is kind of the same thing. Black spandex in the front and a white tu-tu in the back, a black sports bra, and a white frilly crop top.

I put my outfits back in a garment bag, and walked outside, to see my moms car, with her in the drivers side. I do not want to get in that car. I ran behind the car, and made a mad dash for the streets. I crossed the streets carefully, made a few turns, and booked it inside. Just as I flopped down on the couch, my phone buzzed.

Mom: where are you?

Me: home?

Mom: did you not see my car?

Me: you came to pick me up? I must have missed you because I walked home. I texted her, obviously lying.

Mom: next time wait for someone to pick you up.

Me: k mom

I put my phone away and went up to my room, shutting the door, and walking to my bathroom. I turned on the water, brushed out my hair, stripped and climbed in the shower. I let the water wash over my body relaxing my muscles. I washed my hair with my coconut shampoo and conditioner and washed my body with my pomogranted body wash.

I shut the water off, and grabbed my towel, wrapping it securely around my body before stepping out. I blow dried my hair, and got dressed in sweat pants and a spaghetti strap tank top. I put my dirty clothes in the hamper and made my way downstairs.

I flopped onto the couch with my sisters and we watched some TV.
