"You happy to be here huh?" My mother asked as we pulled up to the hotel in Richmond.

I nodded my head as I pulled my Beats off my head onto my neck. The first thing I did when we landed was text Diamond, Leah was to into Langston to hang with me. So it'll just be Diamond and I. Ty told me we should chill, but I don't know. That nigga got on my bad side abit.

I know the feeling of getting cheated on and it's not a good one. After someone going through cheating you should feel honored by them giving you a chance. After we got our things settled my mom wanted to sleep, so I took it upon myself to take the rental car and go to Diamond's house. On my way there I realized how much I missed Richmond. I love Atlanta but I did most of my maturing in Richmond. I got my first fuck, kiss, all that shit here, but Atlanta is home.

"Hey Mr. Nathan" I smiled at Diamond's step dad.

"What's up my dude.. Diamond is in her room" He replied after we greeted eachother, I went up to Diamond's room and just went in not even knocking. There Diamond was sleep. Me being her good friend I'm going to annoy her.

I took the receipt from forever 21, balled it up and began to continuously throw it at her face while she slept. She began to squirm as I tried to hide my laugher.

"Romeo!" She groaned then turned around laying on her stomach.

She sat up in the bed "When you get here?"

"Like five minutes ago... I would greet you but you need to go brush your teeth"

"Fuck up" She said getting up walking into her bathroom.

"Go put some pants on too"

She flicked me off then closed the bathroom door. I got out my phone, unlocked it then went to my unread messages. As Diamond walked bak into the room she was screw facing me, I threw my phone to the bed.

"Come give me some love, I haven't seen ya' ass since the summer" I said with opened arms.

She soon came into my arms and we shared a quick hug. "Where mama at?"

"Back at the hotel, she was tired. Have you spoken to Ty?"

"Nah, he stopped texting me two days ago"

I could tell she was still sad about everything. What person wouldn't be though? Diamond is the type of girl to show her feelings and speak her mind about something but with this Tyler shit she keeps quiet.

"You still love him?"

"Y-yeah, but I'll be over it sooner or later"

"If you say so... but look meet me at the mall tonight, so we can hang"

I said while looking into her eyes. I never really looked into Diamond eyes.

She simply replied "Aight bro, see you then"






Diamond

I looked at Tyler's cheating ass as we all gathered at my house. His parents and mine were currently talking. We would occasionally stare at eachother but not words would be exchanged. I could feel the suppense in the two of us as Tyler mom asked us if we were getting eachother anything for christmas. Ty stayed quiet.

"No" I said and every one seem to mentally gasp. I am not getting his dirty as shit for christmas.

When the coversation got off from the two of us I made my way to the kitchen to get a drink. After grabbing a can of Sprite I made my way back to the living room.

My mind went back to juinior year when him and I bumbed into eachother in class. Really Tyler, I thought. I exhaled god thing I didn't open my drink yet.

"My bad" He deep voice said as I backed away from him. I could tell he was feeling a certain type of way but I could care less.

"Diamond, please talk to me" He pleaded to me with his hands placed on my arms.

I turned the other way so I wouldn't have to face him, I just may cry.

"No" I said softly before releasing an outburst of tears.

He wrapped his arms around me, I just couldn't compose myself. Tyler was my first everything, he even took my virginity. Sometimes in life we have to move on, us hugging isn't really helping.

"Get off of me" I snapped before getting out of his embrace.

That was the last time Tyler and I had even looked at each other. We don't communicate or converse. Which is fine by me, I Guess. A part of me just wants to go jump in his arms the other wants to beat the shit out of him and that bitch then another small part of me wants to never speak to him again.

"My mind is all over the place... and being in the same city with him for this long ass break ain't helping it" I replied to Romeo.

"Do you hate him or some shit" He said laughing.

"No.. I don't want him to think it's okay to cheat on people"

"I'm pretty sure he knows that"

I looked at Kayla who was beside me as she ate. "What?" She asked with a laugh. I replied nothing and she continued to eat. 

"Are you feeling any one else up there at college?"

My mind went to James, how sweet he is, his accent, the why he smirkes at me when I laugh at my own jokes "No.. why?"

"Just asking..."

A wave of awkward silence took over the atmosphere, soon the waiter came back, Romeo paid and Kayla and I went back home. Christmas is a couple of days away. People are going crazy but the only people I plan on getting gifts for is ma, Kayla, Nathan, Leah and Romeo. Ty better not get me anything because his ass isn't getting anything from me.
