Cold, freezing air blows my brown hair away from my face as my foot steps cause the green winter grass to crunch underneath me. I lift my chin as i strut out of the dark forest behind me and enter a clearing shrouded with moonlight. My senses immediatly take in everything from the six werewolves standing before me to the hairs standing straight up on my neck. Then another stepped forward but he was unlike the others, bolder. His smirk made me want to round house kick him but i know better, i know that if i attack him before the match then his pack will converge on me and kill me faster than i can shift. My blue eyes search his face for anything other then the usual sarcasm but there is nothing. Creepy. I step a few more feet closer to him and he steps closer to me, close enought that i can feel his breath. His gaze goes from sarcastic to devious and he lifts his hand to my face. His black hair is flying around his face and his red eyes glow in the dark night. With his wild hair and demonic eyes he almost looks feral, I shiver when he kisses my forehead. "You shouldnt have came." He whispers. I meet his eyes with my own as he continues," I dont want to kill you, but you are a...a werecat." Disgust shows on his face but is quickly replaced again by his scary calm. His hand is still on my cheek as he becomes serious, " You should have ran, hidden somewhere, because you are, after all, a coward. Remember how you abandoned your parents that night when our pack had found you." He takes a deep inhale," Remember how you killed them?" I growl and take a half step back. I give him my hardest stare as i feel my finger nails lengthen into claws and my teeth become fangs. "N-now im the last one. Im the last of my kind because of you!" Tears threaten to spill over but my resolve hardens and i approach him again. "Bali, you invited me here to fight, to finally put an end to our troubles." I pause so i can calm down but he speaks before i can continue," Aleris, i feel dirty fighting a girl, especially someone as beautiful as you. You could have made a perfect werewolf. But sadly cats and dogs never get along." His friends start whooping and hollering ready for the blood bath about to begin and Bali cracks his knuckles. Fear follows me like a weight as we walk to the center of his people, and they form a ring around us. Adreniline encasing me like a coat, i mutter," Now it begins."I bare my now longer fangs as he growls a deep throaty challenge that i glady accept. He begins circling me and we both shift. Instead of the handsome black haired teenage boy standing there a few seconds ago is now a large black wolf with red eyes beaming with blood lust. His fangs drip with saliva and his fur is standing on end. Yet instead of the small brown haired girl shaking with freight was now a massive white tiger, with two long fangs extending much farther than a normal cats. Black stripes run all through my white fur and my blue eyes dart from one of his pack members to another. Each of them had shock written all over their face. They have probably never seen a werecat before, especially one of my size, i am bigger than the alpha in wolf form. But hey, im not fat. I growl back at their alpha as i charge at him. My muscles go taunt as i leap onto his back and sink in my claws. Because of my huge weight, i weigh a ton literally, he loses his balance and rolls over. He snaps at my neck with his canine teeth, only missing me by a few milimeters. I use my feline speed and sink my teeth into his shoulder but then he grabs my neck and pain runs through me. With a shriek, i jump off of him. As i regain my compusure and make sure im not injured too badly, Bali rushes at me. I spin to the side and watch as he slips on the wet grass. Before he knows what a horrible mistake he made i clench my jaws around his neck and hold on until he stops moving. A coppery taste fills my mouth and resit the urge to lick my lips. Then the relization hits me that i just killed an alpha, not just any alpha but the ultamate alpha. His pack has stopped hollaring and stare at his bleeding body. I force myself to turn away and run. I run away from this problem i had created, just like i have before.Branches rip and tear skin from my face, creating red slashes on over my all ready bloody muzzle. Its the alphas blood. I shake my head, trying to get that image out of my head, but stumble and slam whisker first into the ground. I lie there for a few seconds, thinking about where i can go, who i can turn to, when i relize that the sun had come up. I take a deep breath and try to forget everything that had happened in the last two hours but sneeze when dirt goes up my nose. Birds sing in the trees and they dont even know that i just killed the alpha. A mouse scurries out of the deep brush and scamper across the path and back into the trees on the opposite side. I sigh and scramble back to my sore paws and shake myself. Who can i turn to? Most probably the wolves werent just going to let me get away with killing their leader, in fact they are probably hunting me right now. I yawn and shake again. Then a person popped into my tired mind. Kameko! I shake one last time and set off again, off to find kameko.
After days of endless running, my sore hungry body couldnt take anymore. I walk at such a slow pace that even a dead zebra could out run me. My head hangs low enought that dirt kept getting up my nose and my bloody paws left tracks on the ground that any idiot could follow. Im sure the wolves will find me at any moment. But i keep going because kamekos house is right over the next hill. I speed up to a painful trot and as i reach the crest of the hill i spot kameko. Standing there, playing fetch with her dogs, as if i didnt kill the alpha. It is so...normal. Too normal for me. So i put all my strength into my legs and sprint down the rock lined path to kameko. "Kameko!" I roar. She drops the tennis ball she was holding and opens her arms for a hug. I shift back into a human and my momentum throws me into her arms. Any normal person would have been knocked over but she stands rock solid. "Aleris whats wrong?" She pulls me off of her and looks into my blue eyes. Mine are light, almost gray even but hers are dark like the deep ocean. When i dont reply she grabs me and pulls me into her house. The smell of perfect cookies hits me square in the face and relief floods me. I finally made it out.

WerewolfSometimes, Aleris is pretty dumb. I mean, why did she go and kill the most important werewolf alpha in the world? Oh yeah, because other than her mate (If hes still alive) She is the last of her kind. A werecat.
