As me and kado walk along, tiredness swells over us. The sun was beginning to come up, meaning we had walked, well kado limped, for the entire night. I dont know about you, Kado, but im close to passing out. However our bodies refuse to give up and keep shambling along until we reach a river. Kameko is splashing around in its blue currents and Mannix is....not here. My heart tugs at his absence but i put on a blank face and trot over to wolf Kameko. She stops as she hears me get close and looks over at me. I glance from her to the water and back again. Then i lick my lips and realize how hungry i am. Shes trying to catch fish. Well sorry but dogs arent designed for that. Cats rule. I lift my chin high and strut into the water. I see her roll her eyes but i know on the inside shes laughing. I move over to a tree near the shore that overangs into the water. Then i wait. My eyes dart around as i see the tiny signs of fish swimming. The water ripples as i thrust my clawed paw onto unsuspecting fish and pull them out of the river. First, a catfish soars out of the rapids, then i as gain confidence, another comes out and another. Soon the bank is flooding with them, and before i can empty the enitre river, Mannix jumps in the water next to me making a big splash! I shove him and growl but instead of scaring him he just chuckles. Lions are so cocky. We walk out of the water and before i know it, he jumps and tackles me to the ground. He nips and i growl more but then we are both up and running around. "Stop chasing me!" I roar to him. He just chuckles and pursues, more determined then ever. Eventually we get tired and crash on the grass by the river. I cuddle up close to him and I blush when i notice im purring. Its only noontime but hey, cats can catnap right? "Mannix?" I yawn. "Yes, my Luna?" I blush again but dont try to hide it."Why are you here?" I yawn again and i feel my canines on my bottom jaw, Almost five inches long. I can almost feel him thinking and i stand up. I do that weird stretch all cats seem to do and look him straight in his dark blue eyes. It seems like almost years ago when thanos attacked him. "Thanos! Wheres Thanos!?" I Roar frantically. Then i shift back into normal human. I spin around and look at the treeline, expecting him to pop out and say,"Im here bitc-" "Hey. Calm down." Mannix is back into human form and hes holding my hand. I cant breath as he closes the distance between us. Soon only inches remain but soon those too are shortened. I feel his breath mingling with mine and right i think i cant hold it any longer, Kameko pushes us apart. " There is no time for this lovey dovey. We have got to find Thanos." I completly forgot about Kameko and Kado, i wonder what they were off doing. I just nod. then the blush rushes into my face but Mannix looks calm, cool, and collected. Were we not about to kiss? Was i the only one feeling that? But mannix snaps me back into reality as he snaps his fingers in front of my face and i flinch. I just love cat reflexes. I walk faster so i can keep up with Kameko and Kado drops back. I guess he is curious about mannix. "Sorry i had to interrupt yall." Kameko apoligizes with a southern twang. I just nod my head," Do you, i mean, well uh. Nevermind. " She doesnt push me to keep talking and we just walk in silence, sometimes listening in on the boys farther back.
