As we are romping along, Yes romping because we are so cool, A deer dashes out of the bushes on our right, runs straight in front of our path, and back into the forest on the left. My predator instincts yells at me to chase after it and for a fleeting second i consider it before i sprint after it. I hear Thanos call after me in that weird way deer talk, and then hear multiple paws chase after. But since cats are incredible sprinters, their footsteps fade away and all i hear is the blood pounding in my ears. Trees limbs reach out to scratch my face and at such high speeds, my top speed being 215 miles an hour, a trip would cause major bone breakage even with a Were's strong body. The scent of deer fills my notrils and my dilated eyes frantically search for the tracks. Suddenly a brown shape stumbles out of nowhere and falls straight into my path. I growl and leap for it. The deer makes no noise when i land on it and crush its throat under my massive weight. Im not fat. I chuckle to myself as my friends, in shifted form, rush through the undergrowth to my side. "Aleris!" Kameko growls to me. Good thing i speak wolf and deer. Weres speak different languages such as wolf, deer, bear, and cat, so its hard for us to understand each other unless we know the others language. "What the h-" "Stop argueing." Kado cuts her off. He glares at me then turns and glares at Kameko. Then we all turn towards the forest. Crashing and snapping branches, Thanos finally stumbles through the thick brush and falls into the clearing. "Aleris you sc-sc-scared me." He pants. "I heard howling but i guess it was just you two letting me know where you guys are." Kameko gives me a curious look but fear is all that shows on my furry face. "Thanos no one howled. "Gotcha." A masculine voice says from behind me. The amazingly stunning teenage boy behind my absolutly didnt account for the extreme waves of fear running through me. I spin around and face him, lifting my lips to show even more of my mouth full of teeth. I unleash a deep growl but he doesnt even flinch. He moves closer to me and my breath catches in my lungs as he enthusiastically thrust his hand out to stroke my head. I didnt even notice that i started purring. Wait i dont even know this guy but im already letting him touch me? WT-....Then thanos rams himself into the black haired handsome guy crouched before me. His antlers dig into his flesh as i hear a scream. I tackle Thanos and push him off of the beautiful boy. Not even thinking, i shift back into a normal girl and rush to his side. I look over all his injuries while he tries to question me. I just shush him. "There doesnt seem to be any broken bones." I assure him as i hear Kado and Kameko shift into humans behind me however Thanos remains a deer. I expect to see a shocked face with crazed eyes but when i look up to him i see a confident smirk and calm blueish black eyes. "Your not scared?" I ask him. He just shakes his head and then looks up through the gaps in the branches up in the canopy. "You can shift?" He inquires back, even though he'd seen it in action. I just nod my head and look back to kameko sitting in kados lap and thanos standing very far back and glaring at us. When i look back at the guy one question is on my mind. "Whats your name?" He seems to think and then starts to stand up after answering with," My name is mannix." He pulls me up too and i strongly hoped he couldnt see the blush covering my face. "Im Aleris, thats Kado and Kameko, and thats Thanos." I finish after i gesture to them. "Well i have a question for you, What are you doing out here?"
