I started working for the Creative Artist Agency here in Beverly Hills. Kris and I haven't really been talking lately. He's been working and so have I, but I'm just afraid something happened and he won't talk to me about it. I was watching Tarzan when my phone started going off. I didn't even look at the screen.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Phoenix." it was Kris, the last time he used the name was the night of that fight.
"Kris?" I asked.
"Hey." he said.
"What's wrong? You haven't used my first time since that one fight." I asked.
"Everything is okay. You know I've always liked Phoenix. It's unique. Um, I'm actually coming into Cali to visit you. I just wanted to tell you before I boarded my flight from China." he said making my heart skip.
"That would be wonderful. I'll see you when you get here." I said smiling.
"Alright, see you then." he said hanging up.
I sat there on the couch not knowing what to think. Kris was coming to California to see me after not talking to me for a month. Was he doing that on purpose and making arrangements behind my back? I sighed and laid on my couch. Chyna and Danzi came and laid next to me as well.
