I see Harry as a young James. Ron is his Sirius, and Hermione is his Remus, and I guess Neville is a bit like Peter before he went all crazy and stuff but I will always see it like this, because there's Harry and Ron always getting in trouble and doing shit they probably shouldn't and Hermione trying to stop them but when she can't she joins them anyways. Neville kind of stays out of it but helps where he can and he's there for them when he's needed or wanted. They're like a new generation of marauders and it's great.
