Once the band left their hug their eyes fell on to Katie. Her green eyes were rimmed with tears as she looked at all of the faces she had met. Other than Hero everyone was there. Sam wiped her eyes and stepped out of the booth followed by her friends.
"It probably isn't what you listen to but whatever." Sam said shrugging. It was true Katie did not listen to the music they just played ever. She thought it was just noise. She was wrong, once she listen to them play she heard the message and pain in the song.
"Yea it's not." She admitted looking at everyone. The five friends nodded and looked at her with red eyes.
"It wasn't what I listened to ether until I came here. I'm glad I got into good music." Lilith said her voice cracking up as a small laugh came out. Julian put his hand on her back to calm her down. Katie stood up and looked at the five faces. Before she knew it the blinding light of the sun came into the room.
"The headmaster said she is needed in her office or something like that." Hero said her hair glowing with the light. Katie nodded and walked out of the darkness of the music studio and into the sun. She heard Sam start talking to her friends as she walked away.
"So this headmaster, what's he like?" Katie asked Hero as she walked ahead.
"Well she's really a headmistress, and she's nice, she understands the pain of having to leave your family. But don't ask her to leave if you do you'll regret it." Hero said her voice softer on the last part.
"How do you know?" Katie asked watching Hero walk.
"I just do." She said her voice cold now.
"Well if you'd tell me then I'd know." Katie said trying to get it out of her.
"I just do! You need to learn to stay out of people’s life." Hero said looking Katie in the eyes. Still wanting to know more Katie shut her mouth and kept quiet. Ever though Hero looked nice Katie knew she could and would hurt her. Following close behind Hero Katie watched the sky and sighed. Katie's mind and heart raced with questions and fear. Hero stopped in front of a building not very big but a size of a bedroom. "Go in, I'll be out here when you're done." Her said crossing her arms over her chest and leaning agents a wall. Katie put her hand on the golden doorknob and turned it. Opening the door and stepping in she looked at the wooden desk in front of her.
"Come in child. Shut the door." A voice said from the desk. Shutting the door Katie stepped up to the desk. In the chair sat a woman not older than thirty. Her dark brown hair was tied to the back in a bun and she wore a red dress. "Welcome Katie, I am headmistress Athena." She said her voice smooth.
"How do you know my name?" Katie asked standing.
"Katie I know all of the new recruits. Please dear sit down. We can talk and you can ask any questions you have." Athena said directing her arm to a chair in front of her desk. Katie sat down and looked at Athena. "So Katie, who have you met here?" She asked folding her arms in front of her.
"Sam, Blake, Nick, Lilith, Julian, and Hero." Katie answered nervous.
"Of course, most new recruits met their retrievers team." Athena said with a small smile forming across her red painted lips.
"Team? What do you mean?" Katie asked.
"A team is a group of six, one from each tribe." Athena said with a small laugh.
"What are these six tribes? I don't understand." Katie asked looking at Athena's form.
"I cannot tell you that yet, you will know tomorrow when you chose." Athena said her eyes shining.
