"Dev beta...."
"Han maa, bol? Kya hua? Kuch kaam tha kya?"
"Nahin kuch zaroori nahin tha tu kuch kaam ke baare mein soch raha tha na koi baat nahin baad mein bata dungi." Did I make it too obvious?
"Arey nahin maa aa baith, bata kya hua?"
"Woh, tujhe pata hi hai na ki kal Meena aunty ki beti ki shaadi hai?"
"Han maa, tu jaana chahti hai toh chali jaa." She smiled.
"Woh toh main chali jaaungi par.... woh..."
"Haaye jiji!" Mami ji entered the room with a worried and panicked face."Kal Meena ki beti ki shaadi hai aur mere paas pehenne ke liye sari nahin hai!"
"Mami ji, aap chinta mat kijiye. Main maa aur aapko saariyan lene ke liye le jaaunga."
"Haaye Jiji, aap kitni khush naseeb hain ki aapko Dev jaisa beta mila!"
"Bhabhi, maine zaroor pichle janam mein punya kiye honge jo Dev jaisa beta mila"
I smiled and for changing the topic said,"Maa, tu bhi sari legi, main kuch nahin sununga."
"Par....." She tried to avoid the idea and I knew she would do that.
"Maa!"
"Achcha baba, theek hai! Tujhe toh pata hi hai main tujhe kabhi mana nahin kar sakti."
Mami ji and maa left the room talking to each other. I suddenly heard Ms.Bose. I went down the stairs and found her in the garden talking to somebody on the phone.
"Hmm?........No, please don't!.........Hmm,okay fine!........Yeah okay i'll meet u day after tomorrow......Today?No,I am busy today and tomorrow......I know but I'm sorry!" and she kept on talking. I did not actually care what was she talking about and stood in front her, staring.
She noticed and said."Achcha Tia, I'll talk to you later."
"Kyun, kya main apni girlfriend ko pyaar se dekh bhi nahin sakta?"
She blushed."Dev, aapko office nahin jaana?"
"Aap chahein toh nahin jaaunga!"

We both laughed.Her smile makes me forget all my worries and that is the loveliest thing in the entire world. Sona, I have planned something for tomorrow evening and I will definitely make your birthday special.
