Nico di Angelo's Story

~One~Will fries Nico's heart

(Nico's POV)
I walked in the woods, aware that Percy was trying to sneakily follow me. I stared at the ground, and I watched as I left wilted grass under my feet. I turned and looked at my footsteps that were disappearing. I clenched my fist as I saw Percy standing there, completely shocked that I had turned and caught him.
"What are you doing Percy?!" I hissed at him. I gave him my infamous death glare.
"Y-you're in the woods without your sword." Percy held out my sword.
"Okay first off never touch my sword again," I ripped my sword from his grip, "And who cares if I get hurt! they-," I motioned toward the camp, "Don't care! So get lost Percy!" I whirled around and put my sword back. I stormed off as I stuffed my hands in my pockets. Percy called out behind me.
"Nico please! Calm down! Come back and challenge me in the area and win, I'll leave you alone!"
"Go away Percy!" I yelled and I ran. Percy gave up and went away.

 
(Percy's POV)
I began to walk away, but then I heard a ruffle off leaves and a sharp curse. I ran over to Nico. He was sitting on the ground holding his ankle. I put my hand on his shoulder.

(Nico's POV)
I tried not to yell out in pain as Percy touched my ankle. I channeled that pain, and it became rage.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME!" I screamed, my voice full of pain that I didn't want there, at Percy. He jumped at the sudden outburst.
"I-I am just trying to help Ni-" Percy began
"NO! I DONT NEED YOUR HELP! I never need your help ever again." I stood and hobbled off to my cabin. I barely got the door close before I began to cry. I fell to the ground as the tears escaped. I crawled over to the corner of my dark room. I cried for 20 minutes and then someone knocked on the door.
     "Go away!" I yelled. The person came in anyway. I limped over to the door. I saw Chiron and yelped and hid my face. He made me look at him.
     "Nico your limping. What happened?" Chiron looked concerned.
     "I fell and twisted my ankle. I'm fine." I turned and limped to my bed. I laid down and Chiron sighed.
     "Nico..."
     "Ill be fine Chiron. Please. I heal better when I'm alone."
     "Now Nico we know that's not tr-"
     "Please leave Chiron. Ill be there for dinner." I said. He believed me. He left and I mumbled to myself how I was gay and still had a crush on Percy. Then Hades showed up.
      "You're GAY?" he screeched, but only I could hear him. "You're a disgrace! Your sister was so much better than you!" Hades huffed and disappeared. I grabbed my hidden knife and cut my arm, adding to the marks.
      Jason walked in and gasped and ran over. I pushed down my sleeve, but not fast enough. He grabbed my wrist. I yelped, and I forgot to put my guard up for a second.

(Jason's POV)
     "NICO!" I screamed. Then I let a tear roll down my face. "Why?" Nico just got angry and tried to escape my grip. I yanked him out his door. He yelped and covered his arm, protesting. We went straight to Chiron.

 
(Nico's POV)
      I realized where we were going and I frantically tried to get away. I got angry and dug my good foot into the soil. It was useless to fight against Jason because he also had wind on his side. I tried to summon a skeleton but Hades wouldn't let me. I cursed as we stopped in front of Chiron. Jason pushed up my sleeve. I yelped.
      "No..." I squeaked. Chiron stepped back due to surprise. Percy came up behind Chiron
     "I see Jason got you out of..... Nico!" Percy saw the marks. To make it worse Will came up too. I cursed. I finally got out of Jason's grip, and I ran straight into the forest, ignoring the throbbing of my ankle. I kept my head down so people couldn't see that I was crying.  I pushed past Grover, who yelped in response and just watched me go.

(Grover's POV)
       I watched Nico run past me, and then Will was following. He pointed the way Nico went and I nodded surprised.

(Nico's POV)
      I stopped and the edge of the creek. I feel to my knees.
      You're sister was better!
      That one line kept running through my head. Will caught up.
      "Nico..." he reached out to touch my shoulder, and I let him. Now that I started crying, I couldn't stop. I stood up and faced Will. He crushed me in a hug. All I could do is cry.
      "Will... You know I don't-" my eyes widen and my cheeks reddened majorly as he bent over and stole a kiss. I was shocked, and my heart flipped a couple of times. He knew I had a crush on him.
      "I... Uhhhhhh....umm.." was all I managed. He chuckled.
      "Shhh." Will put a finger to my lips. "Lets go back to Chi.." he glanced around behind me. I noticed the light behind me. "Dad?" he asked.
      "Yes Will." Apollo said. By this point, my head was spinning.
      "I-I need to go sit down..." I croaked and sat a few feet away.
       "Nico di Angelo. Why do you suffer and harm yourself?" Apollo asked. I was red and shaking. I was embarrassed and frightened.
        "N-no one c-cares. I'm a-alone. Even H-Hades thinks I'm a d-disgrace." I replied, cursing because I was so frightened.
         "Nico, since I am a doctor, and since Will here cares...."Apollo started. Will got a wicked gleam in his eyes. I shot up and began to back up.
          "Oh no... No no no."
          "I sentence you to three weeks of constant companionship of Will Solace or Leo Valdez." Apollo smirked, knowing Leo was hiding behind a nearby tree. "And don't try to tell Chiron otherwise. He knows. Good day. Oh yea, and You are required to attend the party at Percy's Cabin tonight from 7-9. Leo will spend the night with you tonight." Apollo disappeared and I groaned burring my face in my hands. Will skipped over cheerful.
     "C'mon Nico! Lets go play in the volleyball pit!" He dragged me up.
     "I just want to hide in my dark cabin alone though!" I complained back. I already saw how this was gonna go...
