(Wills POV)

Nico and Percy walked into the Infirmary. This wouldn't be off, but the fact that neither one was hurt, except for that bruise I gave Nico, made it strange. Nico walked up to me, but he seemed skittish.

"H-Hey Will, uh c-can we talk.... f-for a little b-bit?" He asked nervously. I nodded and handed my papers to Kayla. I had been meaning to apologize. I didn't mean to hurt him physically. I grabbed healing cream.

"Here. First let me fix this." I went to touch Nico's bruise and he flinched. Then once he realized I meant no harm, he let me put the healing cream on it.

"I've been meaning to apologize for that... I got too angry..." Percy Nico and I walked to the beach. On the way out, I checked myself out of my job.

"I have to go on a quest. According to the Prophecy, you and Percy are supposed to come with me." Nico blurted out. I froze.

"I... oh my gods... my first quest. Going to save your sister whom my father imprisoned... wonderful!" I groaned. All of a sudden Nico shadow-traveled away, leaving me in the room with just Percy. I looked at him and rose a quizzical eyebrow. He shrugged.

(Nico's POV)

I shadow traveled to Leo, whom I told to wait in my cabin. He grinned.

"So what's the news?" Leo asked. I looked away, and tears started slipping down my face.

"I have to go with Will and Percy..." I broke down into tears unwillingly. Leo instantly hugged me.

"Hey its okay. Just make sure you come back for me. Alright?" Leo said. I nodded.

"I'm scared. Its my first quest in which I'm the boss, and Will and Percy kinda scare me because they're stronger..." I mumbled.

"Nobody's stronger than you Ghost King." Leo said as he ruffled my hair and planted a kiss on my forehead.

"I've gotta go see Chiron to see where we have to go, then I have to leave as soon as possible. Ill send you an iris-message later today after we are on our way." I kissed Leo on the cheek, grabbed my sword and backpack and left, waving my hand as I left.

(Leo's POV)

It hurt to see Nico go, knowing he might not return alive. After he left, I sat in his cabin crying. I made a secret promise that I would continue to be funny and crazy while he was gone.

"I love you, Ghost King..." I mumbled as tears streamed down my face.

(Percy's POV)

"Please stay safe, Seaweed Brain. Please come back to me." Annabeth said, hugging me. I nodded.

"I fell into Tartarus so I could stay with you. I will always find a way back." I hugged Annabeth and grabbed my stuff. Annabeth stopped me. When I turned around,  she handed me her Baseball cap. I shook my head.

"I can't take that from you." I said, "Then you wouldn't be able to hide." Annabeth made a face that told me to think.

"Hide from what? Jason?" She said. I laughed and accepted the cap. Then I planted a kiss on her cheek and left.

(Will's POV)

I had no one to say goodbye to, so I just waited. When Percy showed up, I understood instantly why Nico hadn't showed yet. He was talking to Frank.

(Frank's POV)

"I will bring Hazel back safely, I promise big guy." Nico said to me. I began to cry. I wanted to help but I couldn't. Nico hugged me and left. I desperately tried to iris-message Hazel again, but it never worked. I sighed.

"At least she hasn't been killed yet. My lifeline is her." I grumbled. Then I remembered that she had my wooden lifeline, and I panicked, accidentally turning myself into a spider. I went over to see if Annabeth could contact Hazel any better than me, forgetting that I was a spider. Annabeth screamed bloody murder when I walked in. Percy ran in, almost crushing me,

"Ow!" I yelped, covering my ears. Annabeth glowered at me, and so did Percy.

"Not. Funny. Frank!" Annabeth and Percy chorused.

"I panicked. I'm sorry!" Frank said.

(Nico's POV)

I walked into our meeting place. Percy was nowhere to be seen. The look on Will's face told me that Annabeth screamed. I nodded understandingly. I had heard Annabeth scream. Percy stumbled in the door out of breath.

"Sorry, Frank scared Annabeth half to death. So where are we going? " Percy asked.
