Nico di Angelo's Story

~Fifteen~ Percy....?

( Annabeths POV)
    
         It hit me like a wall. Something had happened to Percy. I was sitting at the dinner table still. I gasped and then broke down into tears. Tears of pure heartache. Something very bad had happened to Percy. Frank, Jason, and Piper all looked totally shocked. I got up, and i ran. I ran to the River. And made a rainbow. I threw in a drachma.
      
       "Percy Jackson. Please." i begged. The water rippled and then showed Will, Nico, and Grover crouched over Percy, who laid on the ground immobile, his chest seeping blood. A girl was attacking Geryon. I sobbed aloud and covered my mouth. Nico turned his head.

(Nicos POV)

      Annabeth was shimmering in an Iris message. Everyone was so freaked out. I slowly stood and walked over.

      "Annabeth, Percy has a very bad wound. Life is seeping out of him more and more by the second. I fear there is nothing within our mortal power that we can do for him." I was crying as much as her now. Then she spoke.
   
      "Drop him in the river. Now!" Her tone scared me so much that i flinched. I walked over and grabbed Percy. I looked at the river.

       "Poseidon, if Percy is you favorite...." i dropped him into the water, "then save him. Heal him."

       "Nico....What the Hades was that for?" Will was sternly looking at me. Annabeth was staring at the water, exactly where Percy had gone under. MacKenzie had killed Geryon, and Grover and her walked over. We all watched and waited.

(Percys POV)

       Nico dropped me in the water. You stupid fool! I wanted to scream at him. I knew that my father probably wouldn't save me. I sank, unable to move.

      I felt heat began to seep through my wound. It felt like fire. Nearly as bad as Tartarus. Soon it subsided, and i was able to move. I touched my wound, but now it was a scar. I swam up to the surface and broke through the surface. Everybody, including Nico, grinned. I then saw Annabeth and i yelped.

     "Percy Jackson! How dare you almost die on me!" She began ranting. When i laughed, and then covered my mouth, she stopped. Then she began to cry.
  
     "Seaweed Brain i miss you. You almost died. I was so scared." she cried more. Piper, Frank, and Jason stumbled into the clearing, all of them out of breath. 

      "Annabeth, are you okay?" Piper asked. She turned.

     "Percy almost died. I saved his life."  She said. I stood there and pouted.  Frank rose an eyebrow in question. Annabeth turned and laughed at my pouty face. We stood there and talked for a while.
