Haytham sat down at his desk, holding a necklace in his hand. He had recently gotten his shirt wet so he has taken it off, now making him topless.
Right now, he was awaiting an arrival. Lee was standing right outside his door, acting as guard. Word might've gotten out that this guest was coming. He needed her protected at all cost. Which is why he sent his men after her.
Haytham remembered their last physical encounter. She was practically perfect...
Her long hair was tied up in a bun to keep it out of her face. He wished for a professional to come and do her hair. A fitter came over earlier with a dress that was created just for her.
He trailed his eyes down her slim figure. She was well-built. A sturdy build, flexible and strong. Capable of fast turns and quick yet powerful strikes.
The perfect Assassin.
Haytham looked at her outfit. It was made of a blood red fabric, soft and silky. It fell down to her ankles and was made with a natural poof. But for comfort, he made sure that there was room for movement. It could easily stand out against any crowd.
Haytham looked up to her eyes, which were a gray like his own. His eyes traced her hair, which was a black like his own.
If Haytham was being honest with himself, then he was attracted to her just like he was to Ziio. Maybe even more. She reminded him so much of her. He knew that she was way too young for him (technically not, she was of proper age.) But he couldn't help the feelings that he had for her.
Haytham shook his head of the memory. This was business. Not pleasure. He couldn't mix those two at the moment.
Haytham frowned. He needed to make a deal with the Assassin's. This girl was flexible. She could be persuaded.
He chuckled.
As if.
This girl was the most stubborn Assassin he has ever seen in his lifetime.
Then he heard a knock at his door.
"Come in."
A dark figure stormed into the room, turning before he could get a good look at their face. But all Haytham had to do was look at the outfit to tell who it was. Red and black coat.
Victoria.
She faced away from Haytham, slowly approaching the window across the room. Charles wasn't far behind her, entering through the still open door. "Sir, my apologies. She would not listen-" "It is alright, Charles. She is here for a reason."
Haytham turned towards Charles, whom had a large cut on his cheek. Blood was oozing from it. Haytham's eyes moved to Victoria's dagger hanging off the side of her belt. Fresh blood stained the tip.
"Go get that wound treated, Charles." "Right away, sir." Charles closed the door and left the room.
Haytham turned his attention to Victoria, "You must've a reason for that." "I was trying to get in the room. He tried to block me. He got what he deserved." She said all too calmly. Haytham nodded, "Very well."
