The door opens to my mirror prison. I look up with sad eyes and stare at Odin. He walks in without any guards or Thor. I sneer at him and throw my pillow at him. He dodges and rolls his eyes at me. I snarl and get off the bed and run towards him.

I throw a punch at him. He dodges with speed that an old man should not have. I scream and attack him with all that I have. I throw punch after punch and even add some kicks in there every now and then. I finally sock him with a punch and he goes sailing across the room, hitting one of the mirror and shattering it, giving me a new weapon. Glass.

I grab a piece of shattered glass off the ground and hold it up against his throat. He glares at me and goes stiff, sensing that he is beaten. I glare right back at him and even bare my teeth at him. My blood feels like its on fire. My skin crawls like there are a dozen or more little bugs crawling around on my skin. I try to hide the fact that my hands are shaking.

"I want to see my mother," I snarl.

"No."

I press the glass deeper into his skin, cutting him. Odin flinches. "Tell me who you are, and don't bull with me and say that you're Odin because we both know that you're not."

Not Odin smiles, "You're absolutely right, I'm not Odin. How did you figure it out?"

I raise an eyebrow at him, "You're joking right? You don't even walk like an old person would! You're too suspicious and always worrying that someone is going to find out."

Not Odin rolls his eyes and eyes the piece of glass at his neck. "Would you be so kind as to remove that and we can talk like normal people?"

"I'm not normal."

"Neither am I."

"What makes you so different?"

"I, am burdened with a glorious purpose."

   I laugh, "And what's that?"

"To rule Asgard."

I raise an eyebrow at him, "Just who exactly are you?"

"I'm the one who brought you back from the dead."

My blood freezes and I go stiff. The dead? What does he mean the dead?

Not Odin smiles at my confusion. I remove the piece of glass from his throat but keep it in my hands in case I will need it. He clears his throat and sits down on my bed. He pats the place beside him, I shake my head.

"Well, for starters, my name is Loki."

He watches me as if expecting some big reaction but I got nothing. I look at him even more confused causing him to sigh.

"Loki. You know, the guy how tried to conquer Earth. You don't remember that?"

"I've been frozen in a giant freezer half my life. So, I've missed out on some stuff."

Loki starts to glow golden and his hair turns long and a dark black instead of white. The wrinkles on his face disappear, his posture straightens, his eyes gleam a certain bleu. In a matter of seconds, a young man is sitting on my bed where an old man use to be. I narrow my eyes at him, "How did you do that?"

Loki laughs, "Most people show fear when I do that. Or announce. You are the first to ask how I do that."

"I feel so honored," I say jokingly and roll my eyes. "Still, how do you do it?"

"Magic."

"Magic?"

"You shoot blue light out of your hands and have been frozen half of your life and you're questioning that magic exists? Doesn't sound that smart if you ask me."

I glare at him, "Why are you pretending to be Odin?"

Loki freezes and no longer looks nice but cruel and nasty. Slowly, he stands and walk towards me. He lowers his face to mine and looks me dead in the eyes. There's practically only inches between us. I've only been this close with someone when I'm in combat or with Bucky. Bucky. My heart hearts just at the thought of him.

"Let me be very clear, my business is mine and not yours. Unless you want me to make sure you never see your beloved mother," my fists clench, "then I would keep this little secret between only us. We wouldn't want your secrets being spilled, or finding their way to your love."

"Bucky," I whisper.

Loki smirks, "Yes, Bucky. I have my people watching him very closely. One word from me and he's dead. Understand?"

I don't respond, I just stare at him. How could this man be so cruel? Doesn't he have someone whom he loves? No. How could someone love such a cold hearted monster like him? I can't show any emotion or he'll use it against me.

Loki giggles, "You work for me."

"Why's that? Who says I can't just kill myself and end all of my suffering?"

Loki's face hardens, "Because then your mother would be useless and I would have no choice but to kill her. You want to see her don't you?"

"Yes!"

"Good. Then you will do everything I say."

I narrow my eyes at him.

"Oh come on! All I ask of you is to let us run some tests on you, then you can go and meet your mother. Deal?"

Loki extends his hand for me to shake it. I look down and stare at it. Do I really want to make a deal with this monster? Do I really want to be tested on again? Slowly, I nod my head yes. Loki smiles a devilish smile and claps his hands together.

"Alright! Now we're talking! Your tests will begin next morning."

He walks over to the door and it opens for him. I watch him. He smiles and waves goodbye and turns back into an old man. The door closes and I'm left all alone with only my thoughts.

************************

Rosalyn Schmidt sits in her empty cell with only one thing on her mind, her daughter. Kyra looked so old. Rosalyn wonders how long she has been away. It seems like forever but it must have been twenty years ago from the looks of her daughter. Kyra looked exactly like her and not her father.

Rosalyn sighs just at the thought of Kyra's father. He was..... He was something else. She still has no idea what she saw in him. He was a monster to be plain. He was cruel, evil, and manipulative towards everyone, except her. If only Kyra knew the truth about her father.

Rosalyn hears footsteps and looks up to see Odin standing on the other side of her cell. He smiles at her. She stands, her chains rattling as she moves, and walks towards him. Her chains pull back on her once she reaches the end of the amount of chains she has. She glares at him, "I want to see her."

"You don't have the authority to tell me what to do, Rosalyn," he taunts.

She spits on the screen, "Screw you! I want to see my daughter!"

Rosalyn's hands start shaking and she feels power race through her blood. Odin eyes her hand and laughs, "You want to see her when you have the chance of killing her! Ha! That's s funny!"

"Please," she begs. "She doesn't even know-"

"I don't care whether she knows or not. All I care is that she's useful to me."

Rosalyn screams and red pieces of glass shout out of her. The walls burn and hiss when the red glass touches it. Odin smiles, protected by the orange force field keeping Rosalyn in. Her chains tighten and drag her across the floor. She kicks and screams, anything to set herself free.

"I WANT TO SEE HER! LET ME GO!" she yells.

Odin turns and walks away with a big smug smile on his face, "Over my dead body."

Sorry for the really late update. I will be updating Mother Expecting next.
