Chapter 29

We stumbled into the backyard hand in hand to the fire pit where we met up with his friends. Based upon the smell and their expressions, it was quite obvious they were beyond drunk and high, Corey as well.

His friends and him got the fire started and we all sat in cushioned chairs around the pit, me, of course, sitting in between Corey's legs again leaning into his chest.

After a few hours of sitting around the warm fire his friends decided to leave, leaving Corey and i alone.

"Heeey babe," he scrunched up his nose and hugged me tighter, tickling me.

"Heey Corey," I laughed out pinching his cheeks.

"Wee're aloone you know," he said dragging out all of the vowels and smiling big.

"Sooo what were you thinking?" I asked smirking at him.

"This!" He screamed excitedly and picked me up and ran all the way up to his room.

He threw me on the bed and jumped into it laughing. We began to make out slowly and one thing led to anothaaa;))

I looked up at the clock out of breath, 11:00.

"Shit, Corey I have to go, before my parents get back from Grace's," I said in a rush.

"No babe don't go. Spend the night here, please!" He looked at me with sad eyes and draped his arm around me again.

"Corey you know I can't, I wish I could, but my parents!" I wanted to, I did, but how would my parents react if they knew I was with Corey, and what we did especially. I just couldn't!

"At least let me walk you home Talya," he said looking up at me. I was sitting on the edge of the bed stressed out honestly.

"Okay," I smiled, "come on hurry I don't want them to beat me home!"

I grabbed his hands and dragged him out of bed. "Okay okay let me put on a shirt hold on."

We walked up to the covered porch off of my kitchen to the couches there. We sat in the love seat for awhile and I laid my head on Corey's chest. The woods surrounded us and we listened to the sounds of the crickets chirping in the dark, warm air.
