Chapter 4

I decided that I should take Joy out for another walk, in the backyard to avoid the mysterious and, God forgive me, hot, psycho neighbor Corey. As we were outside, Big ran over to the fence and Joy dragged me over to the fence too. Big and Joy sat down and started licking each other through the fence! Aww puppy love! God, my dog gets a boyfriend in the 3 days that she's here and I've been here my whole life and I'm practically a disease!!

Moments later, psycho came...

"Oh hey Talya guess they made friends pretty quick, huh?"

"Yeah they're pretty cute. I think they're dating now," I laughed.

He smirked at me and said, "well maybe the four of us should go on a double date,".  Was he asking me out?!

"A double date with my dog? Very interesting," Talya, you are hopeless! Wait do I want this?

"Meet me outside later tonight, maybe 9 or 9:30, and I'll take you up on that date offer,"

Oh my holy god Corey Haim just asked me out on a date and he gave me a time and everything! What's Matt gonna say?!

"Okay see you later then, cmon Joy!" I dragged her inside and took off her leash. I turned around to come face to face with my dad.

"What were you talking to him for?"

"Umm... We were just talking about the dogs that's all!"

"I thought we told you not to talk to him. He's no good at all. He's crazy don't you know that? Who knows what he'll do?"

"Yeah I know don't worry about it, he's okay."

"No he's not okay and I don't want you talking to him again,"

"Okay,"  God my dad could be so annoying at times. He doesn't even know Corey or what his story is. Hell, neither do I! But I want to find out... Tonight.
