Chapter one: Trouble in Paradise

The prison was gone and everyone was separated and had no way of finding each other. Rick and Carl had been camping out in a house they found and then Michonne later found them. But they were driven away by a group of men who suddenly appeared in their camp so they set off again following the tracks.

Along the way they were attacked by a group of walkers and they were too tired to fend them off. So they were lucky that this girl with a black bandanna mask showed up and saved their asses. " Who are you? " Rick asked in shock after the masked figure stood in front of them not even winded.
The girl didn't speak at first just looked at them then she reached into her bag and pulled out three cans of food and handed it off to them then turned to leave. "Wait why don't you join us" Carl said and the girl stopped in her tracks and turned to look at them again this time trying to tell if they were dangerous or not. "Not much of a talker are you..." Rick stepped forward in front of Carl "look we could use the help and you seem like a nice person so why not come with us" Rick stated. The girl looked at him for a few more seconds and then nodded.

"First, can we ask you some questions?" Rick asked the girl nodded. "How many walkers have you killed?" The girl shrugged and waited for the next question "How many people have you killed? " the girl shook her head no meaning she hadn't killed anyone. "Why?" this she looked down to thinking of how to respond. " I never had a reason to I've never been in a group before or gone near anyone since shit hit the fan" she finally spoke and looked all of them in the eyes. "What's your name? " Michonne asked. " Just call me Ghost my real name doesn't matter anymore" she said. " Why is that?" Carl asked. "That person doesn't exist anymore and she sure as hell not coming back but who knows I might tell you some day" she said in a whatever tone.
"We're going to a place called Terminus do you want to come yes or no?" Rick asked and she just nodded.

"Okay then we should be on our way it's getting dark and we need to set up camp" Rick said and started walking down the tracks again and after a while they turned and went into the forest. They found a small clearing and a car to sleep in.

While the three adults sat around the camp fire Carl went to sleep in the car.
Rick and Michonne were having a conversation and Ghost just sat there and looked at the fire no one noticed the group of men that had shown up and pointed a gun at Rick's head.

Michonne reached for her sword but then a gun was pointed at her too. Ghost just sat there and looked at the fire then she heard a click of a gun right behind her but she kept staring at the fire. "Just let them go I'm the one you want" Rick said. "Joe!" Everyone turned to look in the direction of the voice well everyone except for Ghost she just kept looking at the fire. "let them go they're good people" he said. Joe looked at him. "You just said they were good people you just lied. Boys show him what happens to liars" Joe shouted. Then two men started beating him up.

A gun shot rang out and Ghost sprung to her feet taking out the guy behind her and taking his gun then she ran at the two men beating the other man she grabbed one and broke his arm and he let out a blood curdling scream then she bashed his head in. She then proceeded to grab the other and tossed him to the ground and put a knife in his skull. By the time she was done rick was finishing off the last one who had attack Carl apparently. Carl was being held by Michone and the man who stuck up for them just kept looking at Ghost like she was crazy. When Rick was done he looked at Ghost and she said "Well it looks like I have killed three people now"

"Ghost this is Daryl he's a friend" Rick said and pointed at the new man. She nodded to him in acknowledgement then turned and started to climb a tree. "You guys get some sleep I'll take first watch." Ghost said as she climbed " also clean up your face you have something everywhere" she added gesturing to his whole face. Everyone chuckled except for Daryl he just looked at her curiously then turned to Rick for answers.

"It's a long story " Rick answered his unspoken question. "We got time " Daryl replied. "That's enough excitement for one night Carl and I will go rest while you two catch up" Michonne said and got into the car and got Carl to go to sleep.

"So how'd you meet her" Daryl asked looking up the tree. "She saved our asses from a group of walkers. We were hungry and tired she stepped in and saved us and gave us food." Rick said as he took a seat. "What's with the mask" Daryl questioned and Rick shrugged. "We don't know she refuses to take it off even if it just covers the lower part of her face." Rick replied "she's not bad I know that if not she would have killed us by now she does carry a Arsenal with her when we found her she had a rifle, handgun , some throwing knifes and a crossbow." "So what you're saying is she's a walking weapon with a mask and a weird hair do," Daryl said.

Ghost was petite with worn clothes and a mask with the top part of her hair in a hair clip to keep the hair out of her face.

"Do you know anything else about her like her real name or who she was before the world went to shit." Daryl asked. Rick shock his head no. "So basically we only know she's a good person that doesn't plan to kill us any time soon"Daryl said and rick nodded.
