She was bleeding profusely, having just been stabbed.

"H-How could you?..." She stuttered whilst gasping for air.
"It's for the money, Kyla, I must finish you off if I'm going to have my share... see you in hell" The man plastered a sinister smile on his features. The woman fell to ground, clutching her wound.

"Cut!-" The director shouted, "-something's a little off..."
"Was it my acting?" Skylar Jones asked, standing up from the set.
"No, your acting is brilliant, I couldn't tell that you was acting at all, I think it's the blood, you need more of it from the knife's impact" The Director stated, sitting on his high chair.
"Ah, okay" Skylar walked off set and towards Anna, the makeup artist. Anna was smiling, ready and holding onto the stage blood.
"Sky, I've got the stage blood ready to place under your dress, more contents in the bag will spill out when Matt stabs you"
"Thanks Anna" Skylar smiled as she sat in her chair.

Anna also touched up Skylar's makeup and 'wounds'. "Y'know, there's a cheaper way of getting stage blood"
"Oh, how?" Skylar asked.
"You make it, by mixing corn syrup and red food colouring, simple as that" Anna smiled.
"That's interesting, but we've already bought plenty of it" Skylar laughed.
Anna placed the bag of stage blood underneath Skylar's dress.
"Okay, you're done"
"Thanks Anna"
Skylar got back on set and repeated the scene.

"Cut! That was perfect! We're done for today" The Director shouted.
"Great job guys" Skylar said to the actors as she smiled and got off set to wipe the makeup off.

"Sky" John Lowe walked towards Skylar. He worked as an Advocate, so he supported or backed up cases using policies or the law. He'd been friends with Skylar for two years now.
"John, how was work?" Skylar smiled at him.
"Hmm, bad" He gave a frown.
"Why what happened?"
"Well I went to the psychiatric hospital, Mental Trust, and in there, was a report of inappropriate abuse between a doctor and patient, but as I was there, I saw your best friend. Jane Addison is her name isn't it?" John asked.
"Yes! But why was Jane there!?"
"She didn't look so good, I found out that..." John hesitated
Skylar's eyes were wide with fear,"What? What happened?". John gave a look of sorrow.

"She has schizophrenia"
"Schizophrenia?"
"I looked at her patient profile, and apparently she's been diagnosed with it recently"
"She can't have schizophrenia, I talked to her last week, she was fine"
"Was, but not anymore Sky" John stated. Skylar took a deep breath.
"I have to see her"
"You can't, they won't allow visitors, as an advocate, even I found it hard to get in, I know that they're hiding secrets, but I can't do anything about it"
"Why can't you do anything?"
"Because their boss, is my father"

Skylar was shocked, she didn't know John's father owned Mental Trust.
"Still, can't you tell him to change the policy or something?"
"No, he threatens me a lot, especially about my mother, I'd rather not anger him any further".

Skylar wore her coat, "I have to see her, she means a lot to me, I'll think of something"
"Okay, but be careful, that hospital is... Dodgy, I'll see you tomorrow" and with that John walked out of the studio.
Skylar walked out and got into her car. She drove back to her house and started her research on Schizophrenia, not only that, but many other mental illnesses and disorders, after a few days, she just about familiarised herself with everything to do with Psychiatry and Psychology. She had a plan.

She then met John, at a café, once they sat down, they began their discussion.
"I have a plan" Skylar stated.
"Oh please, not one of your plans" John chuckled
"Excuse me? It's a good one, just listen"
"I'm listening" John focused.

At Mental Trust, Dr. May followed Dr. Lowe down the dark corridor.
"Sir, we seem to have a new patient who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, she's already gone through the prodromal phase, she now needs to take meds" Dr. Lowe gave a blank expression.
"Just give her a Typical drug"
"Those are older drugs, shouldn't we give her newer ones? They don't have as many side effects..."
"Dr. May, are you actually starting to CARE about these bloody patients!? Just give them any old damn drug to shut them up, I'm trying to save money here! All the other doctors know the drill, you seem to be out of hand!" Dr. Lowe shouted aggressively.
"Sorry Sir, I'll give her the older ones"
"Good, Now get out of my way! You imbecile" Dr. Lowe muttered and walked into his office.

Many patients at Mental Trust were not treated right, the Doctors were not fully qualified and they never took responsibility for what they do to the patients, this was to 'save money' for their budgets. Patients would be placed in unhygienic rooms that were tiny with nothing in it, they were caged in, and forced to have meds that were not the correct ones to take... Shhh, that's Mental Trust's little secret.
