Dr. Croft, was a very sophisticated person indeed, he did as he was told, following each and every one of Dr. Lowe's commands. He walked towards room 312, which was on the third out of five floors at Mental Trust. He opened the door with a card key, revealing a weak-looking woman, she never spoke, just sat on the floor with her dark hair covering her face.

"Hello Jane" He smirked. Jane didn't respond, a look of fear seemed to be settling in her eyes. "Don't worry, I'm only here to give you your meds" Dr. Croft stated whilst getting the meds ready. The female started mumbling.

"Leave... Leave..." She whispered.
"You know I can't do that, just take these" Dr. Croft forcefully grabbed Jane's mouth and shoved the meds in with his thumb. She spat the meds out and screamed a bloodcurdling scream, whilst still fixating her eyes on the wall.
"STOP, STOP, LEAVE ME ALONE, DON'T GET THE KNIFE, NO!"
Dr. Croft instantly injected her fragile and bruised arm with propofol, causing Jane to lose consciousness.
Dr. Croft placed the meds next to her. "Make sure you take them Janey" he whispered and left the room.

"Okay, Dr. Erika Summer, your interview is tomorrow at 5:00pm" The receptionist handed a card to Dr. Summer (Skylar).

A few days earlier...

"You can't do that!?" John exclaimed.
"Uh, yes I can, I'm great at acting John, I'll make it believable" Skylar smiled.
"Hold up, so you're actually going to pretend to be a psychiatrist!?"
"Well... Yes."
"Wow, first off, what you're doing is illegal, second of all, how are you going to do that?" John placed his coffee down.
"Simple, I'll just fake that I have a degree and license" Skylar sipped on her coffee. John gave her a frown.
"That's degree fraud"
"Nobody is gunna know, and you aren't telling anyone John" Skylar gave a mischievous look.
"You'll need to change your identity, and make these fake documents for the interview, I can't believe I'm helping you" John shook his head.
"Aww John, you're my best friend that's why" Skylar smiled.

So Skylar changed her identity from Skylar Jones to Dr. Erika Summer. From blonde to dying her hair brunette, placing hazel brown contacts in and wearing glasses. This was her new look.

A few days later she arranged her interview at Mental Trust's reception area, she scanned the area, many offices were seen from here, the patients must have been in the upper floors. She took the card from the receptionist.
"Thank you" Dr. Summer smiled and left the building.

The next day, at 4:40pm, Skylar waited just outside Dr. Lowe's office, which was quite isolated from the rest of the offices. She kept rehearsing her lines in her head. She closed her eyes and breathed slowly, this was it, if she screwed up in this interview, she would never get to see Jane. Thinking about Jane made her eyes fill with tears. They'd been best friends since they were 5, Jane was like a sister to Skylar.

"Hey, are you crying?"
Skylar looked up to a man holding a clipboard. She blinked away the tears.
"No Sir, Are you Dr. Lowe?" She asked, standing up.
"Ha no, I'm Dr. Stephan, I wouldn't dream of being Dr. Lowe, he's miserable" Dr. Stephan smiled at Skylar and offered his hand in which Skylar shook. "Nice to meet you, are you here for an interview?" He asked.
"Yeah I am" Skylar gave a smile.
"Ah good luck then, Dr. Lowe is actually very stric-"

"Dr. Stephan!"
Skylar glanced down the corridor to see a woman with red hair wearing the same white coat as Dr. Stephan. She gave a quick smile at Skylar before looking back at him. "Sorry for interrupting, but there's a patient who isn't responding to the medications well, she's asking for you"
"She's asking for me? Okay Dr. May, I'll come" Dr. Stephan waved at Skylar before leaving with Dr. May.

'They seemed nice' Skylar thought, but her thoughts were interrupted by someone clearing their throat.

"Ahem, you may come in" Dr. Lowe stood at the door and glanced at his wristwatch.
"Thank you Dr. Lowe" She stated as she walked into his office. He sat down in his chair and pointed at the seat in front of him, in which Skylar sat down.

"So, you want this job here" He asked.
"Yes, I believe Mental Trust is the best Hospital to be employed at" Skylar said, sitting with a good posture.
"Well you're not employed here yet" Dr. Lowe scoffed.
"Not yet..."
"So, if you could be a biscuit, which one would you be?" Dr. Lowe asked.
"Sorry?" Skylar gave a look of concern.
"You heard me, I'm not repeating myself" Dr. Lowe gave a blank expression.
"A biscuit... Well... I would be a digestive?" Her answer came out more like a question.
"Why a digestive? Why not an Oreo? They're tasty" Dr. Lowe laughed at his own joke.
"Hah, um, well I can digest demands easily and get things done" Skylar smiled. Dr. Lowe asked much more questions like this as Skylar answered carefully.

Dr. Lowe wrote a few things down.
"Where's your CV?" Dr. Lowe asked.
"It's here" Skylar handed it over. He started reading through it. She started sweating slightly. He scanned through the paper and then looked at Skylar.
"That looks fine" He kept looking at Skylar, as if he was deciding something. Skylar smiled at him.
"Thank you Sir"
"Alright, listen" He came quite close to Skylar. She furrowed her brows.
"I'll give you this job Dr. Summer, since we're quite short of doctors here, but whatever I say goes" He leaned back into his chair.

Skylar's eyes were wide "Thank you so much Dr. Lowe! I won't let you down, when do I start!?"
"Don't get so eager!" He raised his voice. Skylar found herself stood up from her seat, she sat back down with a neutral expression.
"Sorry" she stated.
"You're doing night shifts, but you'll be with Dr. Croft, also Dr. Evans won't be working tonight, so it'd be good if you started tonight" Dr. Lowe demanded.
Skylar gave this some thought, she didn't intend to work nights.
"You'll be on call during the day, so we may need you to come in if we need you, but the doctors can cope" Dr. Lowe said as if he read her mind. Skylar accepted and shook his hand.

Before she left the office, Dr. Lowe had one last say.
"You'll be shadowing Dr. Croft for the first night, which is why I won't give you a card key, If the first night goes well, I'll give it to you" Dr. Lowe said whilst typing.
Skylar nodded and left.

All went well, although the interview and how easy it was to get the job raised red flags in Skylar's mind as to what sort of hospital this was. 'Who is this Dr. Croft though?' She thought. She looked at her watch and noticed it was 6:00pm.

"Dr. Summer?" Skylar turned to look at a tall man with short hair and dark eyes, he didn't seem familiar.
"Yes?" Skylar looked confused.
"I'm Dr. Croft, it's 6:00pm, our shift has started" He said stubbornly.
"But I've only just-"
"I don't care, let's get on with this" He threw a white coat at Skylar, similar to the other doctors' coats. "Put it on" He told Skylar.

She was already worn out by her day, but she was determined to find Jane. That's when she had a flashback.

"Skylar, where are yoooouuu?" Jane was looking for Skylar.
"I'm here, what is it? I'm tired, I had a long day at work with a very angry director" She sighed.
"Oh, when life brings you down, wanna know what you do?" Jane smiled.
"What?" Skylar asked.
"You stay strong, not give in and be weak, because weak people don't get anywhere, you gotta stay strong, I'm guessing you're a weak person?"
"Never. I'm strong! Okay? Miss weakling" Skylar ruffled Jane's hair as they were both laughing.
