Skylar wore the white coat and followed Dr. Croft upstairs to the fourth floor, they both got to room 423 and Dr. Croft opened the door with his card key. A boy was sat on the floor, scars all over his arms and wrists. He sat up once the door opened, and looked up at Dr. Croft.
"Hello Tom, take your antidepressants" Dr. Croft stated.
The boy nodded gently before looking at Skylar, he seemed agitated, shaky/twitching and was sweating, a sense of helplessness in his eyes. This made her quite uncomfortable, she felt something was wrong. Dr. Croft gave him the antidepressants and the boy fell unconscious.
"Is that supposed to happen?" Skylar asked.
"What?" Dr. Croft said as he locked the door.
"Was he supposed to fall unconscious from an antidepressant?"
"Yes, why the hell are you questioning me!? You're just here to shadow me Dr. Summer, so shut up and learn"
"Alright, calm down, I was just askin-"
"I won't calm down! You keep bothering me, why don't you go and sort out some patient files whilst I attend the rest of the patients" Dr. Croft shouted as he pointed at a stack of patient files in the corridor.Skylar nodded and walked towards the patient files, she was not off to a good start. She flicked through the first file.

She placed the file with the rest of the files of people who unrecovered. She glanced back at the rest of the files, maybe she could find Jane's? She took the next file and read through.

No improvement'That's Tom!' Skylar thought. She furrowed her brows and spotted a nurse walking down the dull corridor.
"Excuse me, sorry, can I borrow your card key please?" Skylar asked the young nurse.
"Sure" The nurse smiled and gave the key.
"Thank you"Skylar speed walked towards room 423, she slid the card in and opened the door. Tom was sat against the wall, he had awoken, but was still sweating and twitching. He looked up at Skylar in fear.
"It's okay, I'm here to help you Tom, I won't hurt you, I just need to examine you, is that okay?" Skylar asked gently. Tom nodded slightly, but was still shaky. Skylar used her stethoscope and listened to his heartbeat. Fast. It was racing.
"Okay, Tom, I'll check your blood pressure now, try to take deep breaths for me" Skylar got a sphygmomanometer, she placed the cuff around his arm then inflated the pump until the blood circulation was cut off. She looked at his blood pressure. Very high.
She then took his temperature, her eyes widened when she noticed it was higher than 40°C (104°F)."When did these symptoms begin Tom?" She held his hand, feeling how shaky he was.
"A-About... I-I don't k-know" He stuttered.
"It's okay, you'll be alright" Skylar got up and walked out of the room, she grabbed her phone and called an ambulance, she told the receiver that Tom had serotonin syndrome and that he needed to be treated immediately. The ambulance came and took Tom to the hospital. Skylar was worried about him and hoped that he would be okay. She started walking back towards the patient files when she was interrupted.
"Hey! Dr. Summer!" She turned to see Dr. Croft, "What the hell was all that commotion about!?"
"Well Tom had-"
"Yes, I know! Why, What" Dr. Croft was so angry he didn't know what to say. Now that a patient was out there, especially at hospital, Mental Trust would get sued for how they treated patients. He couldn't believe Dr. Summer did that, he thought she knew about the rules. "I will talk to you later" he pointed at her and walked off in a hurry towards the offices.Skylar was scared. Did she do something wrong? She didn't know what was going on, so she decided to follow Dr. Croft down the dark corridors. Keeping her distance, so that he wouldn't notice. He eventually ended up in Dr. Lowe's office. This is the part when Skylar eavesdropped.
"Dr. Lowe"
"Yes Dr. Croft?"
"Dr. Summer called an ambulance for one of our patients who had serotonin syndrome"Skylar's eyes widened, 'So he knew all along!' She thought.
"What!? She called an ambulance!, what if that patient spills the beans? They'll know how we mistreat them!"
"Exactly, what should we do?"
"Get Dr. Summer here, NOW"
"Okay"Skylar quickly but quietly sneaked down the corridor and round the corner, out of sight, just as Dr. Croft walked out of his office and down the corridor towards her. She grabbed a clipboard and pretended she was writing a few things.
"Dr. Summer!" Dr. Croft shouted. Skylar looked up innocently.
"Yes?"
"Dr. Lowe wants to see you, you're in big trouble" He smirked after his remark.
"Oh, why am I in trouble?"
"You'll see, just go!" He snatched the clipboard off Skylar and walked off.Oh no. What will Dr. Lowe say to her? Will she lose the 'job'? She still needed to find Jane...
